The staff and volunteers of APS/APRL couldn't have been friendlier during my visit. The facility is beautiful, with many engaging exhibits that will appeal even to those who may not have a pre-existing interest in philately. The library offers many comfortable spaces for relaxing, while the little gift shop is packed full of unique (and affordable!) treasures.
Experiencing this hidden gem was well worth a trip to Bellefonte.

Wow, so many stamps . This place is like a Magnet for stamps. You can spend hours looking at postage stamps, check out the gift ship for great deals on used stamps to add to your collection, or start a new collection. The staff was so helpful and nice. The 11 million stamp display was very moving 1 stamp = 1 Jew killed in the Holocaust.

An excellent and informative organization. This is their national headquarters. I have to admit, I am not a stamp collector. But I had a great time visiting here. I learned a lot from their displays and their library is fantastic. Great information for kids also. Check out the onsite post office. Very informative staff also. They will answer any of your questions.

If you collect stamps or are a dealer this is a great club to join. They offer a nice variety of services to their members. You can sell your stamps or get books of them mailed to you for you to examine before purchasing
