They are very religious in this town, I'm working on the hill and go for lunch for crew and they don't have meat of any kind, no beef jerky, no lunch meat, nothing , This is the grocery store for the town. No alcohol either, pack a lunch if you're planning to work in this town.

Vegetarian based grocery. Updated produce section is very good. New deli has been very popular; serving breakfast burritos or sandwiches also soups, salads, sandwiches, sliced meats and rotisserie chicken, oh, and espresso at decent prices.

Update: produce section has taken a bit of dive. Prices are good but the products aren't always well stocked and sometimes look less than fresh. I still purchase some of the produce but I am disappointed of the decline.

Wish they had meat. I know the story. I loved it more, back when I was a child. We made our own peanut butter and they had a great bakery. Miss it

I visited the grocery store looking for lunch. I searched the store but was unable to find lunch meat or any meat for that matter. I didn't even see a meat department & the deli was completely empty too. When I asked the clerk I was told, "if we had any lunch meat it would be on that back wall." as she pointed to the back wall of the store. I suppose the lunch meat was something not reordered on a regular basis? Other than that the visit was ok. Items were priced decently & the store was clean.

This College market does not usually sell real meat. It only just recently started doing so about a year a go or so in sandwiches. They do not have a meat department.
I used to go to college up there. This is a Seventh day Adventist run market. I am glad that they don't have a meat department. The Lord has blessed this place for many, many years because they stayed according to what Ellen G. White was told by the Holy Spirit in her writings. May the Lord keep blessing this college and everyone up there.

They have some pretty great deals if you look for them. Sometimes if they have an announced sale, they'll run out of the item, so stock might be a bit of an issue. The lines can be somewhat long, so it's not a good place for a quick in-and-out trip for a few items, although their variety is top-notch.

Went there looking to get something to eat on our way to Saint Helena hosp. We were Hungary and they had no food at all across from a college. What's up with that. Waist of our time to stop. Won't do it again. They don't have chili dogs or hamburgers

Not well stocked, the chips I bought were stale. Fruit flies in the produce section. Over priced but when you need something it's better than driving another 1/2 hour to another store.
