Apni Mandi Farmers Market is a nice! During Diwali, they make fresh sweets right on-site, and the taste is absolutely delightful—fresh, authentic, and just the right amount of sweetness. It is well-maintained; everything is clean and well-organized, making shopping a smooth and pleasant experience. There’s always plenty of helpful staff around to assist customers and answer questions. Overall, it’s a good place to shop, especially for festival essentials. Highly recommend!

This place is wonderful. Food was fresh. Reasonably priced and portions were good. Plenty of tables to sit and eat. Grocery isles were well stocked. The place was clean and the location close to 680 is a plus .

I was at Apni Mandi, in Milpitas earlier this evening, 22nd November 2024. A good outlet for Vegetables , Fruits, Provisions. In this review I would like to highlight the Desi Snacks section in the Mandi. Items available at Desi Snacks includes Pastries, Sweets, Chat, Roti and Subzi,- quality food, a boon to the shoppers at the Mandi. Must try

Kitchen operators -

Their Aloo parantha is really oily and nowhere close to an actual parantha. Same for the declining quality of Samosa.

Bought jaggery from here recently. Came home and opened the packet and it was FULL OF FUNGUS! The stench was absolutely foul. When we called the store to ask for a refund, they insisted we come back into the store with the receipt. I don't have a car and it doesn't make sense to take a $20 Uber to do a $4 refund. When trying to explain this over the phone it was a complete HASSLE - we have still not gotten the refund. We called in THREE TIMES, the cashier kept saying the manager will call us back, I left my details twice, but the manager never called. The third time we called the cashier hung up on us and didn't pick up the fourth call.

This is not about $4. It's about the principle of keeping produce that is an absolute health hazard and then refusing to cooperate when the customer asks for a refund. We sent photographs of the spoilt product, sent all the details required to track the bill and even agreed to come on FaceTime to show the product, but there was zero acknowledgement and honestly barely even a sense of responsibility. An unknowing person can mistake the mould for clumps of sugar and may consume it, which is extremely dangerous.

We are going ahead with the necessary steps to report to the regulatory bodies to caution them that Apni Mandi has a total disregard for public health.

This place is a must-visit for fresh, affordable produce and a real taste of local culture! As soon as I walked in, I was blown away by the vibrant atmosphere and the huge variety of fruits, veggies, and spices. Everything was super fresh and reasonably priced—I grabbed some amazing tomatoes, cilantro, and mangoes that were full of flavor. The vendors were friendly and even open to haggling, which made the experience even better. The only downside was how crowded it got, and the parking was a bit of a mess, so I had to walk a bit. Also, it’s cash-only, which I wasn’t prepared for since I don’t usually carry cash. But overall, it’s a great spot to get fresh, high-quality produce and support local farmers. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Went here to try the food. Thali (Malai kofta curry and Kadi pakoda) and Dhokla were really good. Lived up to the expectations. Paneer puff was not good. Also food had less salt than necessary. Large and comfortable seating area. Would definitely recommend visiting for the food.

I had purchased some snacks here that I didn't enjoy. Puff pastry was hard and hardly any filling. Samosa tasted stale. So I stopped buying food items here (only this location).
Shopping is excellent. I really like 24hr option. I once had to urgently pick up groceries at 11pm and once at 6am and this was the only option. Since I drove a bit far, I ended up buying a lot of stuff. I felt safe in and outside of the store
