What a horrible shopping experience. I paid $170 for a pair of Brooks shoes on February 15. When they began to fray around the ankles after 6 weeks, I took them back expecting that a fully priced store like this would treat its customers fairly. Instead, both the woman behind the counter and the man who appeared to be her boss, were dismissive. Apparently it's my fault for buying a shoe that is very stable (the Brooks Ariel 20) and the fraying is caused by my walk. (None of my other shoes have ever shown this.). They refused to refund my money, instead offering me a discount on buying other shoes there. As if I would ever give them another dollar.

I walked in here today to buy a pair of running shoes for my hoped for marathon adventure next December. Owner, Peter, helped me and he immediately and correctly assessed what I needed, especially after looking at my flat feet. Been decades since I’ve run a marathon so I’ve got a bunch of work to do and I am so looking forward to it. I was so delighted to find this established, “old-school“ running shoe store that not only had the amazing selection of shoes, but the experienced staff of athletes to advise me.

Feeling great today now that I came home with the “right” shoes and advice.

Intelligent, experienced, honest staff. Dropped in on my motorcycle for a specific work shoe. After hearing my needs, I was presented with options I had not considered and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase! If you want an expert to help you out, look no further!!!

Went here to buy a pair of shoes and I wasn’t sure exactly wanted I wanted. One of the employees named Michael approached me and was really friendly. He helped me pick out the new balance 860s. Will come back next time to buy shoes.

Nice store and helpful and attentive sales people. They don't carry a big selection of shoes for little kids.

The best place to buy shoes and athletic apparel, hands down. They only hire experienced knowledgeable staff, the kind who know your shoe size as soon as you walk through the door. Prices are competitive and they run sales all the time. They are great about carrying the newest stock and can get you anything they don't have on hand. It's this kind of store which will save the brick and mortar for all of us.

Customer Service sorely lacking but that aside 3 stars for limited selection in “this store” as opposed to “the other” wherever that is. Available stock here not resembling anything close to their online perusals I browsed thru prior to coming down. Best to pass or have something shipped - your going to have to anyway from “other” store. Maybe best to have other store be REI or VANS. Payless maybe? Do they make those anymore.. They guy there was nice but the lady seemed incredibly put out & exhausted with me wanting to buy a pair of sneakers. Not sure what target market is for this shop but kind of looked like they’re marketing to a non-athletic type crowd.
