After breaking down on a road trip from Massachusetts to Sandusky at night, I was able to limp my truck to Automotive Specialty Services. Fortunately, the shop was only 1.6 miles from where I had pulled over.
Not only were they able to get my truck in, first thing in the morning, they were able to fix the engine issue and repair the failing rear brakes.
I am blown away by the levels of communication throughout the repair process. Not only were the phone calls and texts great, they also sent photos of the items that needed repair and explained the process thoroughly.
I want to thank the whole team for everything they did and getting my truck back on the road so I could enjoy the rest of my vacation.

Today was my first visit to this establishment just to inquire about possibly needing brakes. I was met with a warm smile and welcoming hello how may I help. I provided my concern and Ms Jen quickly called to the back shop to have the service Mgr. Mr Fields come talk to me. He immediately extended his hand and continued the welcoming experience. He not only at the last minute took my car in but he provided a clean modern loaner to use until my repairs were completed next day at no additional charge. He walked me through visually what my car needed and offered his professional opinion. He made it clear this shop is trying to win the customers bloodline not just over price a job. I'm pleased and satisfied from start to finish. Did I not mention the chocolate chip cookies as a treat with choice of water or coffee. Cookies baked fresh with a hint of love like mom use to do ?. If your in the area I suggest give them a try. Smiles and Professionalism greatly appreciated. I wish they were near me in Jersey to get more of my families business.

Casey went way out of his way to make sure I didn't have to pay for repairs and parts that I didn't need. Not only did he fix the problem, but he had my car taken to E-check to ensure that what he did fixed the problem.

I needed to have the AC replaced in my Subaru. As I was driving by , I saw the sign for free AC quote. I was hoping for the best possible scenario since we had just put an impromptu 5k into my son's Subaru a few weeks before. The mechanic personally called me with updates and explained everything in a manner I understood (I know nothing about cars). He provided me with the possible range of costs I could expect and I was thankful the cost was on the lower end. They also needed to replace the rear brakes, which my husband usually does. But, when my husband heard the price, he suggested they handle that as well. A few other little surprises were handled, which we greatly appreciated. The porter who provided transporation is the owner's husband and he was a delight to talk with. He genuinely enjoys meeting and getting to know the customers.

I had a very good experience. It was the extreme detail of what they are going to look at and what they will do, that set them apart. You just know when you are working with someone who really knows what they are doing and that makes you feel comfortable. That was my experience and I will definitely be taking my car here in the future to get worked on.
