This is an incredible restaurant. We came in from out of town for a few days and found this gem tucked away in Beaufort. The food is to die for. I had a pan seared grouper fillet and couldn't have been more impressed with the flavor and the quality of the fish. My date had the tuna fillet which was also to die for. The service was amazing as well. For the best experience, be sure to askk for Timmy or Kitty. That are both top tier servers. I really hope to be able to make it back here next time I'm in the area.

Food and service was wonderful. Make sure you have some time as things came out of the kitchen slowly...but food was great. We will be back. Everyone had a different sandwich and then split a piece of the carrot cake

The Beaufort Grocery is five star in every area. The food was beyond amazing. Our server was so attentive to every detail. The atmosphere was perfect. Reservations are recommended. As a side note, I am gluten free and he menu was clearly marked, the waitress knowledgeable and one of the managers has celiac. Highly recommended. Pictures below is my Gf pork chop meal and my husbands non GF steak. .

I had the pleasure of sharing two fantastic dining experiences this past weekend at Beaufort Grocery. Dinner highlights included "Saganaki" and lamb chops (with crinkle fries). At brunch the seafood omelet with pristine jumbo lump crab and crispy fried oysters covered in light and fluffy hollandaise stole the show--hmm maybe it was tge sweet potato biscuits packed with country ham and pumento cheese..topped with spicy pepper jelly. All flavors were balanced and everything was cooked to perfection. Our server "Kristin" and "Resa" were a rays of sunshine! They expertly paired wine to our gorgeous meals and made us feel like we were dining at a festive dinner party in an historic home. 10 stars!

Excellent food served in a casual setting. We had a group of 12 for a simple drink and main course. Fish and steak were all done as ordered with excellent vegetable sides. Wine and beer choices to suit all tastes. Service personnel were all pleasant, cordial, and helpful in selections.

We've been visiting Beaufort Grocery annually for probably 10 years or so. We've always had friendly service, amazing food, all within a great, relaxing atmosphere.

For starters, we HIGHLY recommend the saganaki...OPA! It is life-changing! Also, crab and lobster dip, along with the spinach dip. Both of the dips can be made gluten free. Ask the server about gluten free options, as they have many.

Any of the Entrees, you will not be disappointed. We've had almost all of them. Filet, duck, all the fish, scallops...all of amazing! All Entrees come with soup or salad, and I recommend the white balsamic vinaigrette. YUMMY!!

If you have room for dessert (or just take it with you), the Bumpy cake, pecan pie, apple pie, and cheesecake have all been solid choices. Have a cup of coffee with it, as they have their own fresh ground coffee, and it's delicious!

Shirts, hats, and a cookbook is available for purchase. As well as the delicious coffee! You will NOT regret a stop here for a fantastic meal!

This place is absolutely OFF THE CHARTS!!! One of my new most favorite restaurants anywhere!! My wife and I were in town on a getaway and came here on a recommendation from our son. We got the Seafood Burros for an app, and they were sooo incredibly good, I said next visit I'm just getting 2 orders of those for my meal! My wife got the lamb chops and I got the pan seared shrimp and scallops, and both were absolutely perfect. The bartenders are awesome and they have a great selection of beer and coctails, the Pineapple Coconut Margarita was delicious!! The deserts are also to die for!!! One word of advice, this place is popular and extremely busy...make reservations, preferable a day or two ahead of time!

Great food. Good service. It’s a full service restaurant with a small bar in the back. I was surprised by how crowded it was on a Monday afternoon. The gumbo was great. We had a daily special turkey sandwich on focaccia bread that was delicious. I think the bread was homemade. Fresh salads
