I'm from SW Minnesota. My family and stopped there on our way to, and from Florida. Just an accident the 1st time, but that chicken(especially being from a gas station) was AWESOME! The staff was very friendly, as where a few customers I bull sitted with. Honestly chickens under prices there. Recommended stopping there if you go through Union Springs

At this location you're kinda gambling with your money unless you fancy dry chicken this is not the place to get chicken after 4pm they stop cooking and what you see is what you get. They have been known to reheat chicken by dropping it back in the grease after its been sitting under the heat lamp for hours.

Now when the chicken is fried good and it's not been double dunked in the grease, it tastes amazing which is why I gave this location three stars. And this what i mean when i say you're gambling with your money here because they aren't consistent and that really plays a big part in food quality if you ask me.

Nice, clean new service station. The restroom was clean and the store was well maintained. Union Springs is 75% black, and the clientele at the service station was nearly 100% black. I didn't feel any animosity as a white person, something that's not true at some other station in Union Springs that I've stopped at.

Very clean, friendly and quick if you prefer not to go inside. Would got 5 stars if it wasn't for the uninvited guests hanging around the store. Otherwise their fried chicken is awesome!!
