The shop is very laid back and the employees are very down to earth. They also understood how I sort of wanted my tattoo to be. The final idea was way beyond what I was thinking! Absolutely love the idea she came up with!

I scheduled an appointment for a medusa, but it turned out I didn’t have the anatomy for it unfortunately. Danielle did my eyebrow instead and I couldn’t be happier with it and the customer service I got from her. She went above and beyond to make me comfortable, let me know everything she was doing and even gave me time to decide on things I wanted. She is an amazing piercer and I will be back to see her to get another piercing or tattoo! Thank you so much Danielle!

I wanted to change my nostril piercing desperately, and Alyssa was very kind, helpful, knowledgeable and very prompt. When I came into the store, she gave me as much information as she possibly could for my nose and also helped me out with my earrings and a replacement eyebrow piercing. I think I found my new Piercer! Will 100% recommend and will be back for more!!

I do not recommend at all. Today is my second time going in and not receiving any help , the first time was a few months ago I came for a dermal piercing no appt so I didn’t get to get a piercing which I understood some only do appt only . The problem was when I walked in no one spoke , said anything at all until I had to approach the lady personally . Today I went in to get my Dermal top changed with a APPT 1:30!. I arrived around 1:31 someone else was there I asked was she receiving help after 10min of sitting there she stated that she didn’t have a appt and the lady asked her to wait there and she will be there shortly . Again no one acknowledged me walking in at all for a whole 30min I sat with no help not a hi not a hello . When I walked in the tattoo lady was doing a tattoo and the other piercer was chatting with her and other people (customers) even still she didn’t acknowledge someone walking into the establishment. No one helped me AT ALL . After she helped the other girl switch her nose ring she started chatting with her for 15minutes I finally said something the tattoo lady heard me n said it’s only them two there basically making excuses I’ve been to several tattoo and piercing shops none as unprofessional as this one.

I have come to Beneath the Skin for both piercings and tattoos, and they are always so great! A sterile environment that leaves you feeling comfortable and confident.
Alyssa (piercer), is the best to go to for piercings, and the only one I will use 😊 She works in a clean and sterilized environment, always leaving my piercings happily helping 🙂 She also saved one of my piercings (done elsewhere) which was not pierced properly, and this one is now healing much better. She always puts her clients and their needs first and never overcharges. I highly recommend Beneath the Skin tattoo 😃

If I could give more stars I would. Alyssa pierced my nostril in May and it was the best experience. I had it pierced and let it close almost 10 years ago and hated the placement. Alyssa agreed that it wasn’t the best placement and put it in a spot that was much more complimentary to my face. She made me comfortable and welcome. She also provided me with more education on after care than any other piercer I’ve ever experienced. I don’t even live in the area anymore and will be making the trip to get future piercings as well as going to her for my kids ear piercings in the future.

I went here with my boyfriend to get his ears pierced and let me tell you Alyssa is wonderful. You could tell they are a perfectionist and not taking the easy way. She ensured they were straight and symmetrical and took her time which is very much appreciated. She was super friendly and the whole environment is welcoming and they are very personable. I plan to go here for a piercing of my own just because of my experience today with them. Highly recommend. Very friendly very welcoming and overall an amazing experience.
