Fantastic dog-friendly hotel. My partner and I stayed here with our dog during a recent visit up to Mount Shasta. It was so nice to find a place so dog-friendly with such comfortable accommodations. We had a terrific time visiting the area.

Beyond the comfortable rooms, the location of this hotel is great -- right off I-5 for easy access to the interstate, but also within walking distance of downtown Mount Shasta. My partner and I walked downtown several times during our stay to go shopping, to eat at Yak's, and for dinner and a beer at a local brewery before walking home. I would strongly recommend staying at Best Western Tree House. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพ

Booked direct with bestwestern.

Needed to stay for skiing with family, picked this place primarily for the indoor pool. Reserved the basic style room which did the job, I liked the parking lot access door to our car for easy loading and also the hallway option. one of the beds was quite worn out than the other queen in our room (206) but overall it was fine. The big issue was the pool was just way too cold for winter for an indoor pool, my young daughter and I were almost shivering swimming in it! The nice hot tub warmed us back up.

Free coffee in lobby was great, not bad at all. Hotel bar had a nice vibe at night with good service, breakfast in morning was decent but only had one server for whole room, which made for some unwelcoming feelings. I would probably skip breakfast here. Food overall was fine.

I would stay for this trip again in the future (we plan on many more) but that pool is just way too cold to swim in for this time of year, I could hear others make mentions as well. Just needs to be brought up to match the warm room! I was going to raise it up at checkout but nobody was at the desk. Hopefully they fix it so its ready next time.

Our stay at the Best Western in Mt. Shasta exceeded our expectations. Christina at the front desk should get a raise! You don't get good customer service anymore. She went above and beyond to make our experience wonderful. Thank you!!

This was a very dog friendly hotel! Made our trip to Mount Shasta with our dogs very easy. They have a pet area and gave us a room with a second garden entrance. The room was very clean and the bed comfy. The food and service at Cooperโ€™s Grill was excellent! 10 minute walk to downtown.

I've been coming to this Cozy Hotel on my way to see Family and Friends in Seattle every year for the past 20 years. Service here is tip notch..All the staff here are helpful and they all are very Friendly. The rooms are big and spacious and the upper floors have decks.

Positive: The hotel is centrally located and within walking distance to restaurants and shops. The restaurant downstairs is good, as well. Negative: The room was advertised as having an unobstructed view of the mountain, which was totally misleading and not worth paying twice the price.

Beds are extremely uncomfortable, rooms are extremely loud, (you can hear a sneeze in the next room) and the front desk staff is unhelpful at best, a bit rude at worst. A stay in my hatchback is more comfortable and a better deal. Certainly wonโ€™t be staying here again.

Upon check-in, I was mistakenly given access to an occupied room, startling both myself and the other guest. As a solo female traveler, this incident triggered deep anxiety about the security of my stay. I immediately informed the front desk, where I encountered a dismissive attitude from the Manager on duty. His tone and response did not convey an understanding of the severity of the error, making me feel that guest safety was not a priority at this property. When I later requested a modest accommodation to address my distress, the MOD offered only a $15 dinner voucher, which I found insufficient and further dismissive given the situation.

I also spent considerable time trying to resolve the issue through T-Mobile travel, but the hotel ultimately denied my refund request, citing the room change and voucher as adequate compensation. My experience was further marred by the anxiety and discomfort that lingered throughout the night, leaving me unable to sleep and deeply concerned about the lack of attention to guest safety.
I never leave bad reviews, but this was the worst hotel experience Iโ€™ve encountered and will not be staying here again. Low quality room & service with a high rate due to location.
