Make sure to check the manufacture date on the tires they sell you. They sold me tires that were 4 and a half years old. Also, the customer service here is terrible. Won't be going back.

The man named John will scam you if he gets a chance, even if you're a returning customer. My tire had had a slow leak from a screw...it was not patchable. I was adding air to it each day but I finally had to take it in to have the tire replaced after the aluminum valve stem broke off. I went in and asked them to replace my tire. He gave me the price of the tire ($160) and I left back to work. They took it upon themselves to install the new tire with a Rubber snap-in valve stem instead of aluminum. Only when I picked my car up did he tell me that i would also have to pay the additional $66 for a new sensor. I understand that sometimes when an aluminum valve stem is swapped out for rubber the low air icon will stay on unless the sensor is changed. I know this because I had actually just had my other tires valve stem replaced with a rubber one at walmart and they warned me before hand that the sensor MIGHT not work. However, it DID work, and there was no need for the new sensor.
So I was surprised when I went to pick up my car and he told me they replaced it without my permission and that it would cost an additional $60+. When I asked if it was necessary he lied and told yes. He said, and i quote, my tire would not hold air unless they changed it out. NOT TRUE. Not only was the new sensor NOT necessary, he flat out lied about why it was. Even if it had needed a new sensor, not replacing it would only mean my light on my dashboard would stay on.
I'm disappointed that he would not only do work and replace parts without permission, but also lie about the reason. Women beware! I'm not sure he would have tried this trick on a man. After calling the Napa location, they agreed to refund me the cost of the sensor, but it does not undo the fact that he is a LIAR. I will never go back again! YUCK!

AMAZING! All I can say is there are NO WORDS to explain how absolutely unbelievable business, family AND staff (The staff IS family) We had an issue with our truck as soon as we go into Middletown! BG Tires staff INSTANTLY accommodated us, took their time to assess the situation AND the walked us through what was going on, questions were welcome and answered TRUTHFULLY. *READ that last sentence AGAIN! THAT IS ALMOST unheard-of nowadays. PLUS I can't forget to mention that BEFORE starting the work OR promising anything they went above and beyond to DOUBLE CHECK to be SURE that WAS the issue! I CAN NOT SAY ENOUGH about this local family run business that you will NOT regret spending your money to do business with and KNOW that the job IS being done THE RIGHT WAY! Although it IS SAD that they ARE the last of a dying breed... I am SO THANKFUL that I found them AND I WILL NEVER HESITATE to spend my HARD EARNED money with them!

IF B&G happens to read this review... THANK YOU and I TRULY APPRECIATE you and all that you all do! I look forward to seeing you all again sooner than later (FOR MY TIRES and NOT due to car repairs) LOL I DON'T want to tempt it happening😂🤦🏼‍♀️🛠️🙅🏼‍♀️

They take great care of our tire and brake needs! We come here every time we need service. I never felt like they were overcharging us. Something I always feel at other car places, lol.

ive known john for a while, he does good work but he is sheisty sometimes because my car comes back with more problems. nothing personal im jus telling you watch him while he works on your vehicle

They completely rebuildlt my front driver side brake assembly. They completed the work for the same price Big O in Sebastopol quoted just for pads and grinding the rotor. I got new pads, calipers and rotors in less than 5hrs.
I wished they were a full mechanical shop, I'd take every vehicle I own there for everything. Great buch of mechanics.

WORST morning of my life. Then I get a low tire pressure warning because there is a screw in my tire on a lonely back road to work. Make it to B&G Tire in Middletown, wait for them to open. Only 1 mechanic showed up to work and there were 3 customers already.
The owner and really nice woman who works there get everyone checked in the mechanic who shows up for work with a good attitude. Fixed my flat and sent me on my way feeling a lot better because there are GREAT people in our community who show up and do their job.
I appreciate them and we should all appreciate the people who show up for us.
AWESOME business and they gained a customer.
