They change the name to Albaraka market, I tried their meat, really the only one that have fresh meat. Other markets have only frozen. Chicken is fresh and halal. I recommend it to anyone.

Always selling expired food. My son brought milk from them that was expired by two weeks and it stunk so bad? he spit it out instantly. Their chicken smelled so bad and was old. What a waste of money?

Friendly staff, ready to help you with any questions. Assortment of produce and affordable. Was hopeful to order a tasty falafel sandwich, but they are not making sandwiches. Although they do have freshly baked breads. So worth it.

The fresh bread, unique product selection, prices and front cashier customer service is awesome! Well versed in multiple languages. 5 STARS!

The food service / deli counter customer service is reprehensible! You have to ask for help or just sit there until you are assisted. The help in food service / deli counter is rude. I have seen food that dropped on the floor that was not thrown away. Language barrier is a problem in the deli. And I feel I get served generally after locals are helped. Good pricing and good food if you can ever get it. 1 STAR

The meat department customer service is below average but not as bad as the deli. The meats are not always fresh and I had to return some one time. The language barrier is often a problem even though I speak 3 languages and a another distinct dialect. 2 STARS

Vegetables / Fruits: Unique selection! Most is fresh however some things are clearly not. Good pricing. You get what you pay for. 3.5 STARS

Store configuration: It is near impossible to navigate the aisles as they are narrow. The store is cluttered albeit it is packed with truly unique items to San Diego. Example: I usually leave a cart or basket in a spot out of the way ( if that is even possible ) and pick up items and return them to the cart or basket due to the inability to comfortable negotiate the aisles / store. 2 STARS ( Because at least it is packed with good deals and very unique items ).

My experince at this low quality shop is the worst. I went today at the meat counter to buy some fish the man there was very rude and disrespectiful. and the other bad side is the bakery, the one who makes Samoon is so arrogant in the way if you asked him questions regarding bread he never answers.

Great produce. I love the ground beef. And they have a great $ store type of area. Great prices on a variety or housewares and tools and fasteners. Some costing more the 1 dollar but reasonable.

Great little shop that has everything one needs if they are in a jam, like nails, mops, glue guns. Speaking of glue guns, do not purchase them here which is not the stores fault but the little 15w black and orange gun just electrocuted me as I went to plug it in for the first time. Burnt my hand bad and will be taking the glue gun manufacturer to court, the explosin and zap when I plugged in was gigantic, comparable to a firecracker going off. Luckily I'm half Clark Kent or else I probably wouldn't be writing this rather my mistress or wife would be, all jokes aside, I'm severely burnt by this gun and waiting on paramedics to arrive, dark humor is to relieve the pain and startle response

I often buy chickens over there. Prices are good, same to other mediteranian markets. This store is not too big, so its understood if they have limited varieties. Some of fruits and vegetables are available right outside the entrance.
Afternoon shift cashier does not allow customers to bring their own shopping bags.
Deli's young lady always serve customer better and in friendly manner, she is able to speak English fluently. A tall man in meat section has very good service to customers as well.
We can parking off streets for 20 minutes or park next to market for max 2 hrs.
