This was the first meal I bought during my trip to San Francisco and it didn’t disappoint. I can’t speak for the rest of the store grocery-wise or even other sandwiches, but the Lone Mountain was top notch. As an avid sandwich enjoyer, this ranks pretty high up on my Good Sandwich List. The seasoned chicken, avocado, provolone cheese, pickled red peppers/onions, and chipotle aioli come together nicely on the toasty focaccia. I might try to recreate this sandwich in the future at home.
Today was surprisingly nice weather so my girlfriend, our friend, and I ate our sandwiches sitting on the grass at Mission Dolores Park.
From what I saw, many of the products at the store were on the pricier side; considering the location, quality of ingredients and sandwich overall this is pretty adequately priced. If you’re new to the area/visiting San Francisco and the weather’s nice, I’d recommend getting a sandwich from here and eating at the park.

Simply the best sandwiches. All ingredients are top quality and super fresh. Everything is definitely on the pricier side but it’s worth every bite. Favorite sandwich spot and will dream about them when I leave SF.

My telegraph sandwich tastes like they put a ton of wasabi sauce inside. My nose burns with every bite. It just tastes horrible. And it looks like the beef in my empanada wasn’t cooked. The meat looked really red. And the bread was a little soggy. Super disappointed with this place.

Personally this place isn’t for me, The California rolls I bought from here was one of the worst ones I’ve ever had. I’d prefer the ones from Safeway, the crab meat was incredibly almost impossibly dry(I placed a some soy sauce on the side in hopes to make it better but the crab next to it soaked it up like a sponge)and left a very awful taste in my mouth. Very expensive for them to be that quality, I also bought some garlic noodles with tofu and that was pretty decent, a cool 4/10. Bought my friend a sandwhich and that was pretty okay, 5/10 over all I ended paying 34.98 in all and it wasn’t that great, I hate throwing away food so I ate what i could but I definitely recommend you stay away from the sushi. The people working making the sandwiches were great and their energy made everything about this place a little better, probably the only reason I’d come back.

While the produce is high quality, the plant based selection is very low and, flesh/meat in full view (and smell) making it a very uncomfortable place for people of diverse cultures to visit. In turn, as you’ll see, the crowd is quite homogeneous.

Beautiful displays, clean and well-organized, this lovely market has a wide selection of salads, dishes, meats, locally-sourced fruits and vegetables, wines, breads and more. Terrific for take out when you want to spend an hour's lunch break in Mission Dolores Park, which is within easy walking distance.
