We just loved our experience with Blue Mountain Outfitters, there was this lovely competent calm in their store, this sense that all things water related to kayaks and canoes know they have a space in this gorgeous little historic gem located in Marysville. The store itself is carefully curated with well known brands of boats, anything you could need on your water adventure can be found within the walls. The outdoor facility for our boating adventure was the cleanest I’d ever seen- shuttle service was prompt and friendly, the equipment was great. We were provided with good information to make sound choices of routes based on goals and weather. We were provided with a map and a card for pickup when we arrived at the pickup site. This made for one of the easiest river trips I had in the area without having to juggle drivers and wrestle with our own boats. They have boats to rent, boats to buy, repair service, and it’s just one lovely small business outfitter. I would highly recommend using these outfitters on an adventure in your future - we were so glad we did, looking to book again in maybe 6 weeks. Even if you don’t do rivers but family members do this is a great place to pick up gift cards or shop- the eye candy selection of boats is like finding the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow in this little emporium of small water craft. One of the coolest moments of our trip was at pickup when Mark demonstrated how to make a truckers hitch; he took the time to show and explain to my son what he was doing, and then had him practice it. These are the details that make one continue to come back, kind and patient people, helpful and willing to share their knowledge with those listening. Thank you for an amazing day on the water!

Love this place, boutique atmosphere, huge selection of high quality equipment and paddle sport watercraft. Prices are outstanding, same as most places offer even online . The knowledge of the people is also outstanding and they are very friendly. Bought 3 kayaks from them along with paddles and quite alot of other gear as well.

Had my Kayak in for a repair and it honestly came out really well. The price of the repair was reasonable and I absolutely will return here for my kayaking needs. Check this gem out if your in the area I am always for supporting honest small business and this place is a real gem. P.S. the repair work held perfectly and no water where it shouldn't be.

Great place to do some river adventures. My bf and I rented a kayak. Overall the price for the day with 2 kayaks n shuttle wasn't bad. Next time I wanna kayak in the area I'll bring my own since I know where to set in and out at. I can't think of anything similar like BMO in the Williamsport PA unfortunately, the West Branch of the Susquehanna is calmer n narrow.

My wife and recently purchased 2 Nucanoe F10 kayaks. Before purchasing I always ask a lot of questions and gain as much information as possible about the product I am interested in purchasing. Blue Mountain was extremely knowledgeable and helpful and never pressured me. Since our purchase they have always been there to help with accessories and educating us on kayaking. I highly recommend them.

We bought a beautiful canoe here just after the start of COVID and just went back and picked up two kayaks. We mostly paddle down the Susquehanna. Great place for purchasing real kayaks and canoes - especially lightweight ones - if you want the real deal. They also run a shuttle if you want to paddle down from Duncannon and don’t want to stage your own vehicles. Highly recommended!

Family owned business participating in the 2023 Verry Perry Christmas. Many items for sale in all the nooks & crannies of the historic building.
Offers canoe trips down the Susquehanna River. Back parking lot for trips.
You may even get to watch the train as it passes on by.

We bought two kayaks from them and several pieces of gear this past summer. They also did some repair to one of my existing kayaks and did a great job. They have an enormous selection and you cannot go wrong making them a one stop shop for all your paddling needs.
