Beware prior to driving 15 miles up river to purchase gas. The pumps are not working, out of gas, with zero warning to prevent you from using what gas you have to purchase their non-existent gas.

Wish I had read reviews before purchasing a brand new boat that they did shoddy work to. Charged me for authentic parts and installed aftermarket. After those parts failed they patched it instead of fixing it which I found out later from the manufacturer that what they did voided my warranty. Said manufacturer suggested fighting them because we would win in court but could take a long time. While it took them 6 months to patch it they left it sitting outside which not only stained my seats but filled up my center log and ruined my bilge pump because they turned off the switch and created a nasty odor when the cover was laying in the boat. Then deflected everything. This place sucks. Do you due diligence and shop elsewhere

We rented a boat for two days family time. The boat would not run right, it skipped and cut out and at full speed would only do 2 RPM. We contacted them about this and they said to bring it back in to let them look at it. A worker drove it and it did run ok until we started back in and it did it again. They said to try it again and see if it had bad gas. We did that and of course it did the same thing. We had at this point spent several hours trying to get boat back in after calling and telling them it was again doing same thing. We made it to the camping side and stopped. We called and they said they would send someone to look at it. They sent two mechanics and they changed the prop and put gas in it. After almost a full day that we paid for and only got to enjoy a few minutes of they did get it fixed. They didn’t reimburse us for the day we missed out on and we don’t feel like that was fair.

Guntersville Boat Mart is a 5-Star business if there ever was one, and I HIGHLY recommend them.

The snobby place down the road wanted nothing to do with my 50HP 4-stroke outboard and absolutely just blew me off, though they are supposed to be a certified dealer and service center for the brand. They were rather condescending and "ceremonious" about it too - with a distinct, 'don't call us we'll call you' attitude about it. {Their equally condescending, 1-star review is in the making).

Then I called GBM, and Lisa was like a breath of fresh air. They took my boat that day, and were able to start the investigative process into my problems within a week. It was complicated, but Lisa communicated very well throughout the entire process. She always had answers and at least two options of resolution. In the end, the problems were solved to my complete satisfaction for a very fair price, and with zero surprises.

We are now back on the water and all is well. GBM is a few miles farther down the road for me, but they are so worth the extra drive.

Thanks again, Guntersville Boat Mart! You guys earned a life-long customer.

Dishonest dealer! Buyer beware! I arranged financing and paid my down payment base off an ad they posted. Ad read very fast Tritoon 40 mph loaded. I drove 11/2 hours to test vessel and sign contacts. The vessel would barely reach 30 with just 2 on board and would choke down when you raised or lowered motor. They said they’d fix it but, called me 3 days later and said they couldn’t but, had another boat like it coming in with a larger motor and they’d sell it to me for same money. Boat comes in and they call and tell me but, it’s $12 more and I had until lunch that same day to come get it or they would sell it to another interested buyer. They had already posted for sale before they even gave me the chance to drive back up and make sure it was in proper running order. This place is a patch shop with a horrible reputation in their area and their reviews are online are horrible. My family was so disappointed because we had already made plans to use our new boat on vacation. Boat Mart could careless!

I bought a boat from John at the Boat Mart. Great experience. I drove out from Georgia to take a ride on one of the boats they had for sale. John had the boat ready and waiting for me. After a lengthy test ride (30 minutes) I was satisfied. John allowed me to watch his crew perform a compression test on the motor and checked all the fluids for me. The motor looked to be in great shape. His crew buffed and waxed the boat while we did the paperwork. The only thing we didn't test was the trolling motor batteries. Sadly I got home and realized they wouldn't charge. I called John and he apologized for the error and gladly paid for them to be replaced at my shop. Again, it was a great experience at the Boat Mart. Give them a call if you need a boat, they have a bunch to choose from.

If you're in the market for a pontoon boat look no further. Boat Mart is the only place to purchase a boat. I have priced Bennington boats over a 100 mile radius and John gave me the absolute best price I could find anywhere. I truly enjoyed my experience and would definitely go back to purchase another one. John had the boat ready before the projected date it was due to be ready. I forgot my trailer latch when picking up the boat and John was kind enough to give me one at no charge. John took the time to go over the boat to show us how everything worked. Lisa had all of our paperwork ready to go when we got there and we were in and out in less than 5 minutes. Lisa even took the time to fax the paperwork ahead of time so we could get the registration out of the way. Keep up the good work guys.

We reserved a rental with a 115 hp engine . When we got there they no longer had that boat available so they offered us a 85 hp engine boat which is lesser then what we had reserved or we could pay for a new 150hp and upgrade . When you reserve something as a customer then show up and the business does not have it available you do not expect to get down graded or forced to pay more . You expect to get what you reserved or upgraded. I tried to explain this to the staff but their eyes glazed over and were not willing to use their common sense
