i love brandy melville and gone to brandy melvilles all over the country but this store was by far the worst. the place was so crowded and only had 1 dressing room open the other ones were filled with clothes that they were to lazy to put out.the line for the dressing room was to the door. the employees are so rude and didn’t even say your welcome even tho i said thank you 3 times and she just looked at me and kept talking to the worker next to her. most employees just sat on there phones instead of working. very disappointed.

the hundreds of reviews about the employees being rude seems to be a universal experience and not just a couple of one off situations. save yourself a terrible shopping experience and don’t shop at this location (or better yet this store in general). the blonde girl who helped me at the register was extremely rude. she slammed my bag down and shoved it towards me. not only this but no employee offered to help or move out of the way. just a bunch of nasty little girls working here.

Unfortunately, I found the interaction to be very disappointing due to the behavior of one of the employees.
The employee appeared rude and impolite during our interaction, which made the experience very uncomfortable.I believe customer service plays a vital role in maintaining a company’s reputation, and I hope this feedback can be used constructively to improve future interactions.

I visited this Brandy Store in August 2024. I was really excited to visit as I am from the UK where it’s not available in most cities. The clothes were very nice and I did buy something. However, the staff truly lived up to their reputation of being unfriendly.

Two girls, who were staff as they were putting away clothes, were at the door loudly gossiping about a ‘kleptomaniac‘ from their high school and saying very judgemental things about girls 'who are still friends with people from high school'. I was shocked at their brazen attitude and felt immediately uncomfortable in the store. I had to squeeze past them as the store was small disorganised and very messy with piles of clothing on the floor and in random places.

The same girl from earlier was on the till when I went to pay. She didn't smile or act friendly towards me which was disappointing as I wanted to ask about the item I couldn't find but felt too uncomfortable. She only asked me if I knew about their returns policy.

The visit shocked me as I had heard about Brandy Melville employees being rude but did not believe it was so bad until this experience. I did visit another Brandy store in San Francisco where the staff was lots more friendly and helped me find what I was looking for so I do think it’s the culture at this specific store which is the issue.

I hate to do this but I went in the store to do an online return, and was very polite had my order # prepared employee on shift gave me a gift card for store credit. Unfortunately she was terribly rude with look on her face of disgust and when she handed me my shopping bag after I got a few things in store she basically threw it at me as if she was literally disgusted by me. I don’t know if this girl thinks she’s the most beautiful creature on planet earth but her attitude sucks. Seems like she’s judging you from the moment you walk in.

My fav place in the Santa Barbara shopping strip. It’s just a convenient little store, on the corner. To do a quick outfit change In the middle of your day! 🤍 The girls working were nice & helpful. The store was clean & well organized! I was asking for more colors & sizes. The girls were awesome! 🤍

The "kids" in charge of this store don't welcome customers very well. I asked a question about size and the answer was more than condescending, and the looks I got afterwards were arrogant, especially from one sales assistant.

Horrible staff. No AC. They don’t pay attention to customers. The people who ‘work’ there are too busy talking and fooling around with each other. They don’t greet you, acknowledge you or offer help. They were horribly rude. It’s like they’re free to do whatever they want, no one managing them. I mean, how hard is it to assign one person to the register? People stand in line to pay and they’ll just stare at you rather than offer to help you with your purchase! Duhhh. Do not shop here.
