Absolutely loved this place! The atmosphere was so unique with the train car and train theme throughout. Best coffee I’ve had on the trip, and the best waffles I’ve ever had in my life. The chicken waffles have chicken baked inside of them. Loved it! And don’t miss the gift shop next door- really cool t shirts there!

What a fun business in Sodoltna! Leveraging old Alaska Rail trains this business seems to try to provide an experience while being sustainable. It's an up and coming little business park that includes a brew pub, coffee shop, and art store. New solar panels seem to be installed so will leverage renewable power especially with the northern sun. If you have a chance to stop recommend grabbing a coffee and snack and then sitting up in the train car!

The Mother Clucker Waffle was truly a unique experience but simply scrumptious! Once I started eating it, I don't think I stopped until my basket was empty. My Latte was also divine. Had given 4 stars due to how long it took to get our coffee after sitting down. It would've been grand to get that coffee to enjoy the cool energy and atmosphere of this amazing cafe setting- I would've been more gracious waiting longer for the Waffles beforehand. Superb customer service by all staff as wel. New Fave Waffle Spot...CHECKED.

Good waffles, good coffee, cool atmosphere. The coffee shop is a train so it’s a cool place to try at least once while in Soldotna! But, be sure to watch for all the extra hidden charges. Non-fat milk is 75 cents more and it’s 60 cents for syrup. Everything is extra. ? ?

This is one of the coolest places in town. Went into the historic Alaska Railroad train car to order then a window seat for a nice view and wonderful coffee. Staff was so very friendly, polite and helpful. There's also a nice gift shop with art and items made by local artists. Large variety of items to order from the menu. Mine was a white chocolate, carmal mocha and was delicious!

So good we had to come twice. This cute and cozy cafe was recommended by a friend and we ended up coming the next morning as well to try the cuckoo for coconut special. The shake N’ bacon is soo good with the maple mustard and the lemon drop is so rich. The atmosphere is so comforting and the staff is always so kind. Could not recommend it enough.

This is such a cool spot! We drove down from Anchorage last fall just to come here and right after we ordered the power went out. They refunded us, but I wasn’t able to make it back until recently and was excited to finally try the shakin’ bacon waffle (pictured, but I ate most of it first). It did not disappoint! I ordered it gluten free - I have celiac and had no issues with this order. I also got a firebox freeze and it was a perfect addition to the waffle.
