Super cute & edgy. The “style” focus is a bit narrow & doesn’t leave much room for vision expansion. After all fashion is art. The staff is friendly (same bohemian aesthetics since forever). However staff should be educated more on sub-genre styles & international brands (not just current trends/ big names). Other than that, everything is great!

I was at Buffalo Exchange on Speedway last week to sell quite a few items during my lunch hour. I’ve done this several times before but this time I had the great experience to witness a new trainee learning all things fashion and the manager of the store gracefully supporting another staff member by honestly taking care of an “upset” customer. So, my experience wasn’t really about me. I got to observe the vibe and dynamics of what makes a strong and cohesive team to support each other. Made me love the place even more ♥️?

The employees here are great and are always nice when I've come in to sell. My issue is with the management. There was only one cashier with a long line of people that was only growing longer while the rest of the store was nearly empty. After 10 minutes I asked who I assume was the manager (woman in a floral skirt) if there could be another cashier. She said I don't think so but let me check. She was standing right next to the register the whole time seeing how crowded it was getting (don't know why she didn't just hop on a register). She sent someone else up luckily and I was proceeded to be cut in line by a customer. I know it's not a cashiers job to keep count of the line order but the chaos of it all made everyone in the room anxious. Big turn off to see employees overwhelmed with a long line while the manager chit chats with someone else

One of the absolute worst experiences I ever had at any retail clothing store. Brought in a bunch of nice clothes to sell, all nicely folded and clean. The lady buyer who is going through my clothes picked out what she wanted and the rest of the stuff that they couldn't use like my dress pants or dress shirts she decided to half hazardly roll up everything so it would get wrinkles with no disregard for the clothing that was brought in. After speaking to a store manager and pointing out the customer service I was receiving she played it off as if there was nothing wrong and made excuses for her lady buyer that she was trying to be efficient and folding my clothes back which weren't even folded in any kind of adequate way. Moral of the story go there if you want to waste your time and get a puny offer of trade or cash and if you don't take it be prepared for your clothes to get just thrown together and placed in whatever bag or box you brought them in and throw them back at you. There's a reason why I haven't been to this store in many years and now I know why. absolutely disgusting!

I used to LOVE Buffalo Exchange. Not anymore and I shall not return. The prices have gotten OUT OF CONTROL. Remember as consumers, we are lied to by the media and businesses. They call their stores and clothes, “resale.” Nah.. that’s a marketing term. They are USED hammy down clothing. Some of their prices are what items sell for new. Others are just a small % off of new retail price.

The concept of Buffalo exchange has now become distorted. “Used” clothing is supposed to be at a fraction of the cost of new. For simple math: If a shirt costs $20 new. It should be selling for a fraction; ($5-7 used). You can do much better at the sales racks at Macys, Saks, Nordstrom’s …for BRAND NEW clothing. Some items are so cheap on the racks at the above retailers. That you almost have to do a double take. Because you can’t believe how inexpensive they are.

Want prices to come down at BE ? The only way to accomplish that is to vote with your wallet by not shopping there. Supply and demand will correct the market at these shops. Prices will come down or they go out of business… simple economics.

Selling is a crapshoot. Some buyers are friendly and patient and informative.....SOME, well... not so much. There were items that the girl never even took out of the bag, some items she never even looked at. It was disappointing since I've been shopping there for WELL over 20 years; I know what they sell, I know what they buy. The buyer that was buying when I first walked in was at least explaining to the potential seller, why they wouldn't buy this or that, and what other things would be accepted. odd and disappointing that I needed to ASK why a certain item was not taken. It as a waste of time, gas and energy. so sad. maybe next time. In the past, I lived nearby and would take the items in, then what wasn't bought I'd simply bring in the same stuff a different
day and time, and many more of the items would be bought. Each time I go in, I check the current stock to get a hint of the current styles they are accepting.

A bit better than your average thrift store, but that comes with a little higher price point. I do have to give it, though, this location is huge. It is sometimes a bit of a hit and miss, but if you have the time, might be worth it. Horrible parking, be warned.
