A stop on the yarn crawl. I had no idea this store was here! Staff were very friendly and said to come by any time to hang out and work on something. Parking was a bit tricky tho. Small lot but i saw street parking.

This is a wonderful local business with a beautiful selection of yarn and knitting supplies. Marsha is friendly and helpful. When I didn’t find the color yarn I was looking for, she had some dyed to the color of my choice that week! She has also helped me in selecting the right yarns for my projects, and generally is great about answering questions.

I've shopped here quite a few times. If you're looking for high quality yarns this is the place to go. Additionally, the owner is super knowledgeable about products and has walked me through problems on a few beginner projects. During pre-social distancing the shop was always full of ladies socializing. Overall a great homey feel.

Sweet yarn shop. Marsha is friendly and helpful and will order needles for you that she happens to not carry, although she does have a good selection. She even had yarn dyed for me in requested colors,, and it took only about 3 days. Pretty amazing.

Busy Stix is a wonderful yarn shop with a very knowledgeable and delightful owner, Marsha. She is helpful and her store has a good selection of high quality yarns, sundries and patterns. If you need help with your project, this is a good place to seek help. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic it is recommended that you call for an appointment and hours may vary.

What a pleasant discovery! Busy Stix is full of lovely hand dyed yarn. The prices are reasonable. Plus it's super convenient right here in Lafayette. Just remember you have to go around the corner to the back of the building to get to the front door. The owner offers knitting help if you get into a jam!

Loved visiting this shop on my way from Walnut Creek to the Oakland airport. It's tucked in the back away from the main road, and has its own parking lot. The shop is full of so many different types of yarn -- much more so than my LYS here in SoCal, and with soooooo many accessories (easily my secomd-favorite part of visiting LYS, besides picking up yarn), books, magazines, buttons, needles, and cords. I definitely recommend visiting!
