Backstory: When I received my lehenga from India, it was almost unwearable—the blouse was made for someone else’s measurements, and the skirt was poorly constructed. My sister-in-law and mother-in-law had worked hard to choose stunning fabrics, and seeing it in this state was really disappointing.

Neha to the rescue: My fiancé found Neha on Google Reviews, and we went in prepared to scrap the lehenga. However, from the first meeting, Neha was incredible. She completely restructured the skirt, correcting every detail. The blouse was almost rebuilt from scratch—Neha had a great eye for design and showed me beautiful laces and stones that we used to create a completely new look. She meticulously refit and restructured the blouse and added stunning stones and laces that transformed it into something truly bridal.

Neha’s dedication to the perfect fit is unmatched; I must have visited her at least six times, and she was so patient and committed to making sure it was exactly right. Over the course of working together, I lost 34 lbs, and Neha was incredibly accommodating, adjusting the fit to ensure it looked flawless.

Thanks to her, I went from being ready to toss the lehenga to having a breathtaking bridal outfit that looked beautifully intricate and perfectly fitted. I’ve since recommended her to another bride in the Bay Area, who also describes Neha as a true professional. The next time I have another Indian wedding to attend or if friends need recommendations, I’m going or sending them straight to Neha! I wish I found Neha from the very beginning when I was searching for outfits for the Indian wedding (first timer) I’m attending. Save yourself the time and trouble of looking for an outfit online!

As a first timer, my Indian friends suggested some Indian party wear websites I should buy from… well, these sites are overwhelming and most are pricey… and the lehenga I ordered ended up being too long and it wasn’t cheap either (these sites have a horrible return policy too). After a not so great experience with these websites, I’m glad I found Neha and her boutique for help on finding another outfit (I needed 2 since it was a multi day event) and for help with altering my too long lehenga. Her designs are beautiful and very reasonably priced. Her advice on what to wear and how to properly wear it is super helpful. Within the appointment time, I found 2 more outfits that I liked.

To be honest, I regret not going to her from the get go. The alteration cost ended up being almost as much as the cost of the lehenga itself. I could’ve saved myself so much time, money, and stress if I went to Neha first.
