I recently had a TERRIBLE experience with California Home Resort and would not recommend this store to anyone. Instead, I highly recommend checking out "Hot Tub Wherehouse" in Gilroy or Santa Clara, even if it requires a bit of a drive.

The store's repairman, Rich Valdez, is the only service provider they have, and unfortunately, I found his customer service to be extremely lacking. Despite charging us multiple times to fix an issue with our hot tub, he only brought used parts that didn't work. Whenever we would call him back to look at the hot tub again, he would try to charge us every time. Even when we ordered two new small parts for the hot tub, he tried to give us another used part that ended up not working and charged us AGAIN to come fix the used part, as well as charging us for a brand new part.

On top of that, Rich was rude and unprofessional when we called him to voice our concerns. He even claimed that he has been in the business for 30 years and doesn't need our business, and that he could ignore whoever he wants. This behavior is unacceptable, and we felt like we were treated poorly just because he couldn't fix a simple problem with the part he recommended, charged us for, and brought to our house to install.

Overall, if you're looking for a hot tub store that values customer service and treats their customers with respect, I recommend looking elsewhere. "Hot Tub Wherehouse" in Santa Clara and Gilroy have been extremely helpful and provided amazing customer service.

I just got ripped off BIG TIME by the service rep Rich this company sent out to fix my Cal Spa, still under warranty. The guy charges me $200 for a service call, only to come out a second time after I ordered the part he requested, to supposedly fix the problem. All of a sudden things have changed: "Oh, I forgot to check this. Oh, this connection is bad. Oh, I can't do this until you do this."
I asked him why he didn't tell me all this when he charged me the $200 service charge. He had no answers and didn't like the fact that I was displeased. He packed up his tools and left.
What a crook! What a disappointment from this company. BEWARE OF SCAMS LIKE THIS!

Rich came and worked on our insert. When he arrived, he got right to work! He cleaned it and explained things to us as he was working. Such a nice experience. Will be recommending him to everyone I know!!

Terrific place to purchase a spa, outdoor bbq and fireplaces etc. Today we are shopping for a spa. We were just going to add a jetted whirpool on to our pool, but the plaster design just can't match the design or massage jets of a well designed spa. They have a large selection and have been in the spa business for a couple of generations. All of our questions were answered and we received quotes on a few different designs. Now it's time to decide which one and get it ordered!

Jason tried his best to satisfy my dream to have an energy efficient wood burning insert in my home. Because my exisiting fireplace was manufactured type, it small burning space make an wood burning insert an installation challenge. Jason and his crew Kim did it. With this state of the art wood burning insert burning beautiful fire, I am watching LIV super bowl. Thank you Jason. I will recommend his service to anybody wanting to get a wood burning insert into their open hearth fireplace which may be tough job and declined by other wood burning stove dealers.

I bought a two person HotSprings tub after much research. It is the best! Nothing beats nights out under the stars. We got excellent installation, on time as promised. Since then we have touched base with Jason Adair with minor questions and have always gotten prompt, courteous service. I highly recommend both HotSprings spas and California Home Resort.
