Visit today was unsatisfactory. No fresh or bagged spinach at all. Guy in produce and two guys at check out were clueless! Told me to call produce manager tomorrow!

Love the Smithfield location! Great deals, prices and friendly service!

This store has gone down hill in the last 3 years. We are always having problems with the meat department. The meat is often miss cut or spoiled when you buy it. Or spoils before the use by date. They also put fruit and vegetables on sale in packs with a rotten spot hidden on the bottom. This used to be my favorite store. We try not to buy meat from there anymore at all.

Came into the store at 10:25 through 10:30. Was willing to pay over $20 worth of items. The cashier. Hispanic male. With long hair. Snatched my items from my hand. First it was Fanta that he snatched. I waited. Then he snatched the second fanta. I told him he didn't have to snatch the items. He proceeds to snatch the other items out of hand. I walked out the store empty handed. If this is how you train your employees. They need to be retrained. Unacceptable.

Great store, found everything I needed and the 1 thing I couldn't find the clerk at the check out line ran at got it for me before she was done getting my items checked out!! Now that is great service. I would recommend them to everyone. Oh and their meat selection is amazing!

Decent place, decent pricing it's a pretty good place for budgeting for food. Different food and culture in IGA. IGA been around for so long it's like a home's welcome place it's been a part of Johnston county for very long. It feels like a family run business but it's not but it feels that way.

Great place to go if you don't want to spend a crazy high amount of money. plus they have food that I've eaten years ago as a younger kid and now as an adult they still have it it's definitely my go to place for quality and pricing

This review is not about the store itself but more about the whole chicken I recently bought. Came in once before and bought a whole chicken that was really good but this last time the chicken was super rubbery after cooking, like it was an old bird.
Luckily it was salvageable after boiling the hell out of it but nowhere as good as the first chicken I bought here which also came in a different packaging (didn’t see the same chicken I bought the first time I went)

Friendly staff. Good looking meat. FRESH 9 layer cakes! IGA has Rose pork brains back in stock after a long absence. It was a staple when I was growing up. Brings back memories of childhood.
