It has changed owners over the years, but remains a very well serviced store. Lots of variety and imported fruits and vegetables, great hot food to go or dine in area and fresh bread everyday. Just beware when the parking lot is full, be ready to wait in line for a bit, so go early.

Great meats already prepared and ready to cook for chicken or beef tacos . They also have great Mexican sweet bread. Especially love the meat counter. Fresh cuts of meats and ready salsas. Highly recommend.

The meat is mostly fat. Its gross. My husband and I were cookimg ground beef it had weird chunks of fat that smelled like pork fat. I'm never going there again. The place is pretty dirty too. And alot of mean people.

Had big plate of: chile verde, rice, beans, salad w/guacamole, corn tortillas (4-5?), jalapenos, radish slices, and 2 slices of lime; with included drink (med-lrg?). Most meals are $11.99 + tax. Had some jello for dessert. I got really full. The sign outside says, El Bajio Market, the whole back of the store is one long meat butcher/carniceria counter.

The men in the meat department would not serve us because of the color of our skin. I love the Mexican culture but I do not like racists people. Either way it is wrong!

Their fresh ginger root is cheapest in town..also spot discounts on fresh produce. Good deli meat counter if you cook hispanic foods.
