This auction is a disgrace! I came to purchase a 2010 Toyota Corolla and was blatantly misled by the staff. They told me I couldn’t buy the car during bidding and instructed me to return the next morning to finalize the purchase. I even tried to leave a deposit to secure the car, but they refused!

When I arrived the next day at 9 AM sharp, as they told me to, I was informed that the car had already been sold the previous day. It’s obvious they made a shady deal with another buyer behind my back, likely taking a bribe. This kind of corruption and unprofessional behavior is completely unacceptable.

Do not waste your time or money here. This place is run by dishonest people who prioritize shady backdoor deals over fairness. If you’re looking for a reliable and trustworthy auction, look elsewhere.

Do you know how to test transmission issues, a test drive also checking the dipstick for burnt fluid smell is an indicator, it’s almost impossible to catch a transmission that’s going if it’s only showing intermittent signs because you must duplicate the customers complaint and without the proper automotive technology it’s practically impossible to catch transmission failure the carriage trade knew my vehicle had transmission issues knowing I wouldn’t know that until after I purchased the vehicle driving it off their lot, also structural damage, in the state of Pennsylvania it literally states that a vehicle with structural damage is deemed unsound and unsafe which is also one of the few things that’s covered under arbitration laws so imagine my surprise when a third party mechanic told me a vehicle that I paid over 2000 dollars was structurally unsound and the carriage trade knew about it, they sold me a damaged unsafe vehicle that I purchased for my wife I’m so grateful my wife wasn’t injured or worse killed due to the carriage trade public auto auction negligence, after I visited the third party mechanic I immediately went back to the carriage trade and I was told it was (as is) and the only thing they can do is run the vehicle back through the auction for someone else to deal with, so consumers beware! This business do not do good business and will take your hard earned money and not care about the position they put their consumers in. I purchased this vehicle in 11/24 it is now 04/25 still no title! I repeat consumers beware!!!

I don’t need a reply from you or to hear about the regards of your wishes what I want is for your organization to be held accountable, what I need is for Ppl to be aware of your deceitful practices in ripping Ppl off every opportunity I receive I will be letting Ppl know that the carriage Trade in conshohocken will take Ppl money for lemons knowing that it’s a hassle for consumers to hold the carriage trade accountable for their deceitful practices

Great place to find a used car.. but they do sketchy shady business with all the miscellaneous fees and they lie about mailing titles to customers.. also employees on the phone are very rude as if they are underpaid or unhappy in the workplace.. the woman didn’t even answer my question.. instead she cut me off saying I would have to “pay for a new one” for what A title that you never mailed out… shady business here.. request title before leaving the place or they will lie saying it was “mailed”

Why all the complaints? It's a car auction. What do people expect showroom new cars for little money? All these idiots complaining, they should of known better or at least know a little about vehicles. They are As Is plain and simple. No matter all the bad reviews and complaing from crybabies the fact of the matter is they are as is. I've bought good and bad cars but no matter how bad they ended up being they were as is. I'd just resell them again at the auction. It happens

Only had this car for two months and the engine is done !!!!!! 😤😡😡😡😡🤬 I spent all my money on my car because my last car went bad too now I don’t know what to do I don’t have no money for another car and theses people is playing with people hard earned money like why would you sell a car and the engine is bad no check engine light until 15 days later came up as bank 1 catalytic converter I changed it now it’s the engine like wtf y’all have to do something seriously I’m bouta loose my job because it’s always a problem with this car!

Angry isn’t the word on how I’m feeling right now after literally leaving this auction… My kids and I just escaped out of this burning 🔥 vehicle prayerfully we made it out on time.. My emotions are all over the place needless to say never again 👎 Now we’re stranded 😡
