The bad: Yesterday there was a cashier that started correcting the way my wife speaks. Her english is pretty much perfect (but its not her first language and there is a tiny bit of accent). This guy was trying to fix her pronounciation of a word in a very intentionally assertive way. Never seen anybody have any issues with the way she speaks before. I wasn't next to her at the time but could hear it from the sitting area. When I made it clear that I was listening to that coversation, he walked up and tried to explain to me why he was doing that, which ofcourse was just him digging himself deeper in that hole. To be fair, he looked like he wasn't 100% all there, (kind of meth head vibes, lenky / skinny white dude probably in his 30's with wrinkly face). Maybe just socially ackward or some sort of mental issue, who knows. This could be allowed to slide, but its not the first time I've had ackward experiences here. Another time we were trying to buy propane the cashier lady said, Ill help you in a minute and continued to talk for quite a while with her friend before a guy showed up and asked what we were waiting for and helped us (not called by her, just by luck). Both experiences about one year apart, so Id say chances of having an annoying interaction with an employee there is moderate. Its almost as if they don't like that so much of their customer base are vactioning Yosemite visitors. They do seem to have good employees too, just hope when you come in you get the good ones.

The good: lots of selection, clean store, has decent bathrooms, nice lot, easy for bigger trucks and trailers, nice clean property, nice out of town vibe.

Went to go get something to eat at the gas station because it’s closer than town and it was closed! 8:30! I didnt see any store hours posted online or outside the door. This is 3rd time we’ve went to the gas station and they were closed early.

Was on trip from northern CA to Mariposa... stopped at this place for sandwiches and 1/2 gallon milk.
I was charged $20.... For these three items... My fault...I was tired... Dude behind the counter "refused to give me receipt"!!!! "A paper problem"...he said.

Buyer beware of being ripped off..

I just got a cup of regular coffee $2.70. Thats too much. Regular coffee shouldn't be more than $1.50 anywhere
