The carnitas spot in the back of the store is 🔥... You can order a whole bag to go or some tacos to eat there. They give you double tortilla (regular size) and enough to make two tacos from one 😎👌🏻

This place is EXPENSIVE. They have high prices on everything. Yet, they have a lot of customers. The deli area is also really pricey. Quality of the food is going down too. Used to be better. Be careful when you ask for carnitas because sometimes they give you less than what you're paying for. I live a couple of blocks from there so I only go when I need an ingredient that I need for cooking and don't want to go too far to get it or I don't have time to be in long lines. Parking is bad. They really don't have any. People just park right in front of the store. I've seen many near crashes either in the "parking" area or going out of it.

Yesterday was the first time i had a burrito there. My dad has been telling me about this spot. No lie the best burrito i had better than the taco trucks. A super burrito with everything in it n man this burrito was big full of meat rice ect. Recommended this place will be going here to get my burritos from now on.

Came here like 5yrs ago, when I first moved to Richmond, was not good imo. This morning was looking for new spots to try chicharrón and they came up. My hubs said let’s try it again, people say their carnitas are good….. so happy we did, the food was so good. The smell of fresh food hits you before you walk in. The meat wasn’t dry or over cooked. Their horchata was good too, we actually got a mix of a few things even one of their chile rellenos, i will say it’s def a spot to try….. one thing I will say their tortillas were made on the spot but were a bit bland for me

Way OVER PRICED, Smaller than usual super burritos. We ordered 1 carne asada super burrito and 4 tacos... Also with carne asada plus 1 large jamaica water. All that was 36.00. Not a place I recommend for tacos or burritos. I rather go to Las montanas or another Taqueria on 23rd St. next time.
