The Chanel Fragrance Boutique at the Fashion Island Mall has been absolutely one of my most favorite shopping destinations. They have everything from makeup, perfume, skincare, to a wide selection of sunglasses. However, the best part of buying anything from this store is how they carefully and beautifully wrap your items in these elegant boxes. Annnnnd…. You will NEVER have a Julia Roberts moment from Pretty Woman in this store, because everyone is super professional and accommodating. Guaranteed! Kudos!

My to-go store for Chanel beauty, skincare and fragrances! I’ve been working with Nasy and she is absolutely the sweetest! She’s been very professional and is always giving lots of samples and etc! Definitely recommend her!

I went into the store spontaneously after seeing they had sunglasses when I walked by. I was helped by James who was absolutely wonderful, charming, and not sales-y at all. I love the sunglasses I purchased but James made it a great experience and deserves some recognition!

BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER FROM CHRISTINE!!!! I called looking for a product which was through their call center. They relayed the message to the store and Christine followed up w me. Ordered what I wanted and paid online. My limited edition items were shipped to me and even gift wrapped!!! Such a great experience and saved her number for next time. Highly highly recommend contacting Christine for whatever you need!!!

If your a person of color, don't even bother going to this store location. The staff is extremely prejudice and will treat you like a criminal when you come into the store. I have never had this problem before at previous Chanel Beauty locations, and have even gone to the one in Fashion Island so many times, however it seems this staff is new and blinded by racism. Immediately when I walked in, I was met with passive aggressive prejudice when browsing the perfumes and being followed by all the staff. What stuck out to me, is a woman of Asian American descent, who was one of the staff members following me around,  had the audacity to state " I haven't seen you around here before" she did not ask any other customer this question, but me, due to my ethnicity. I immediately left the store, being very uncomfortable, as it was very apparent the staff and this woman didn't want me here or my service. I have been a long time customer of Chanel Beauty, browsed at many locations, including this one, and I am appalled by the behavior I have received. Newsflash, People of Color are able to have wealth and success. This staff needs have a open mind of all races, and not have assumptions about a potential customer due to their ethnicity. I WILL NOT be coming back to this location, due to their disgusting, racist staff.

Christine Legrand is the sweetest and most helpful SA ever! I was desperately searching for a particular item and Christine went above and beyond to ensure I got it. I was very antsy and probably called her five times or so, but that never changed her demeanor! She remained as calm and sweet as she was when I first called her. I really cannot thank her enough for her help! If you’re looking for the best experience, be sure to ask for Christine!

I went in to purchase Chanel Eau de Tendre (the light pink color), which I thought it was the eau the toilette. I already have the Eau de Parfum ( yellow color ) which I did not like as well. I shared this with the sales consultant..

I then purchased the light color pink Chance Eau de Tendre. I did not realized that she gave me the parfum version of the Eau de Tendre!! I thought it was me! I cant barely smell it on me or on anyone else that I sprayed it on!! No joke!! I even sprayed it on my pillow case to make sure it’s not my ơn chemistry!!

I went to return it bc I thought I was defected. It was not even 30 days yet!! I did not realized that the store has a 14 days return policy!!

The sales consultant said it was a VERY soft fragrance.. and they could not even do an exchange or store credit.

****Lesson learned:
1) I absolutely DO NOT recommend this store!! I purchased the Channel fragrances at department stores and had much better experiences!!

2) Make sure you look closely at the box to make sure it’s not Eau de parfum since the boxes are identical!!

3) Don’t waste your money purchasing Chanel Tendre Eau de Parfum .. it smell tremendously lighter than baby powder !!

*** I shared with the sales consultants that the Chance Tendre Eau de Toilette has a much more lasting fragrance and they were quite surprised .. and proceeded to tell me that I should switch fragrance bc perhaps I got used to the Eau de Parfum and if I was cooking, I wouldn’t be able to smell the frangrance on me! 😳😳😳. Again, I barely used the Eau de Parfum and they tried to tell me that I got used to it ?

So incredibly disappointed 😞. Perhaps repeat customers is not their goal.
