Chavez Market is great but the Panadería next door is amazing. I am so happy that I went there because they are delicious. Great prices and good deal. They have Mexican style drinks if you want to try those which I did not. I just got the regular coffee and some breads. Unfortunately I didn't take a picture but we got three that kind of look like a raspberry bear claw. We got one that looks like a turtle, one that looks like a pig and it's very delicious. Everything looked fluffy and super fresh. It's kind of like they make in that bakery and put it out fresh. They also had great looking cakes. They also had puddings and flan.

$13.99 for a torta de jamón that only has 1 slice of ham!!!! Who decides that? I love the flavor and staff however I don’t think it is fair for us customers to pay basically $14.00 for ONE slice of ham. Managers or owner whoever is in charge. It is not fair at all. Please consider this for future customers.

Came to the Paneria on the right, which sells flan and bread treats and coffees. Great quality and prices, all fresh.

Great service and superior food! Bit of a language barrier but it was fine. Burritos are the best I've had in Northern California 🙂 Ordered the chicken and seafood fajita burritos and they were par excellent - seasoning was on point and cooked just right. Small dining area but people moved in and out quickly on a Saturday afternoon so it wasn't a problem. Total recommended!

One start because it is extremely expensive. Yes, the food is of great quality but it is too much money for food. It is not as clean as one may expect, and most of the staff members are not friendly. Safeway like prices. One star because everything is very expensive. The store looks clean.

This place is extremely expensive everything on the store is expensive I went to the taqueria today I order a menudo and agua fresca my bill was over $30. That is expensive
O compare prices from chavez ans. Cardenas Market. And the price difference is 30 to 50% is a big difference
And on some items chavez is 100% high compare with cardenas
For example the guacamole chavez price is $9,99 lb
Cardenas is $5.99 lb
I understand that have to make money. But I feel like they just taking advantage of hard working people

I placed an order over the phone once I got to the taqueria they had only half my order so I had to wait for my order. What was annoying was once I got the other half of my order which was my torta it was cold.
