My husband and I just got married here on 9/28/24 and it was an absolute dream!!! We were able to put some chair covers on the chairs, and my brother in law played acoustic guitar for me to walk down the aisle. We were also able to choose our own officiant! We had 38 guests and were able to take photos in the garden area after the ceremony. Sherry and all of her staff were awesome and we couldn’t have asked for a dreamier wedding ceremony 🤍

This bookstore is an integral part of the Morro Bay community. It stocks used and new volumes and will order books for customers. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful and lovingly maintains the timeless environment of this bookshop. Love books? You owe it to yourself to check out this bookstore.

We need far more bookstores like this — love it. An independent store offering a very nice selection of new and used books in a perfect atmosphere, right down to the welcoming used book smell that greets you when you go through the front door. I love the availability of chairs and stools that invite you to sit and test drive a book or two. Be sure to step out back into the garden and check out the chapel available for rent.

My husband and I had our wedding in the chapel last month and it was perfect! The staff were so friendly and accommodating we couldn’t have asked for more! The chapel was the right size for our guests and with the lush garden it was exactly what we wanted! This bookstore is so quaint and peaceful. When you first enter you feel a great welcoming vibe and books just surround you. Employees are nice and helpful. The garden in the back is a nice place to escape. It's a great local place in the mix of all the tourism in Morro Bay.

Amazing experience earlier today. My fiancé got a $5 book, but our cash was in the car (no debit charges under $10). The wonderful owner let us leave WITH THE BOOK, the receipt inside and told us to bring our cash back later. She said “You have to learn to trust people.” Was very sweet of her, we were back within 5min with our cash, had her keep the change. Will always come back after grabbing a coffee next door at top dog! Thank you, have an amazing new year.
