Cobbler shoe repair was able to rescue my John Fluevogu boots. My fluvoges were a gift from my wife and were purchased from eBay used. They are a size 13, fourteen hole combat boot. Originally manufactured in 2007 with a 100% natural rubber sole and heel. They were in great shape but the rubber souls were rotten, and needed immediate replacement. I purchased identical souls and heel from Fluevogu, who told me take it to any reputable cobbler. I took them to HSH who glued on the soul and nailed the heel the same way they are originally manufactured in 2022. Everything looked good until the soul started peeling away at the toe the first time they were worn. This was a continual battle constantly needing to be reglued, because the manufacturer never actually stitched on a real welt. Various versions of their shoes and boots have had legitimately sown welts at different times. I dealt with this until I had a critical blowout one night while dancing, the primary use of these boots. The false welt separated from the boot along with the soul all the way back to the ball of the foot. I knew I was going to need a more conscientious cobbler to repair this. This time I ordered a newer version of the soul from fluvogue that is a mix of synthetic and natural rubber. It is significantly firmer and I expect it will also wear slower. Have to researching and locating Cobbler Shoe Repair, I went into discuss possible solutions to what I see as a manufacturer's defect. They assured me that they could do an actual sewn on construction that would not fail. 2 weeks later as promised my boots were ready, beautifully repaired. The soul has been sown to the interior construction of the boot at the toe, and the heel has been nailed as well as screwed. In addition to the issues with the soul, the lining was ripping along this center seam in the back. I had them select a similarly colored tan leather and sew it on as a reinforcement. I'm exceedingly happy with the work they did. My total cost was just over $200.

Owner is very knowledgeable & takes the time to really understand the problem. I took my briefcase with a broken strap & my very favoritest poor, old, mangled shoes in. He's agreed to fix the strap on the briefcase; and OMG, he said he could completely refurbish my shoes! Can't wait to see them. Prices were reasonable. Also, the store smells divine.

This is the best cobbler! He did a beautiful job on my Son of Sandlar Jester shoes and my Thigh high boots. He was very friendly and listened to what I asked for. Plus the pricing was reasonable and he did them quickly! I highly recommend this cobbler to everyone for their shoe sole replacements. He is the best!
