The customer service is okay , however the inventory is not I’ve visited this bookstore a few times, and unfortunately, it always seems to have a very limited selection. The shelves often appear empty, and there doesn’t seem to be much variety in the inventory. While the customer service is friendly and helpful, it would really make a difference if they could improve their stock and offer more supplies onsite. It would definitely enhance the shopping experience for students and have options to purchase.

The College of Alameda Bookstore isn't stocked with relevant and plentiful literature. The prices are exorbitant plus for rent-to-own, the textbooks are usually vandalized; and the bookstore staff are severely homophobic/lesbian-phobic from experience. Fresno City College makes me feel safer, but aside from textbooks at College of Alameda, the professors are at a higher and respectable standard of educational enrichment.

Horrible , horrible and horrible. I ordered online on September 16th was charged $1 test charge. I went more than 5 times to ask about my book from store and every they had a new reason why I do not have the book. Today, I was waiting more ten minutes for manager to come and talk to me. She said we could charge your credit card. I told her, you did test charge and this is a card I am using every day. No. She asked me if I can buy a new book here. I said no. Told me sorry and have good day. Can't believe it. Here in academic environment you face such thing.

In map you see that they are opening at 8:30. In fact they open at 9:00.

This bookstore is small, but well stocked. The staff is friendly and helpful too. I ordered a textbook that was delivered as promised on time. Sometimes they have items on sale like t-shirts and coffee mugs.
