A local told us we had to stop here. With that said we did not know about the kolaches! Wow, were they amazing! I got a pizza one and bacon/ egg one. The bread was so moist and had a really good salty taste to them. My fiancée got the pulled pork one and it was pretty good as well. Oh yeah, the donuts were good too 😉

Good dark roast coffee. The jumbo kolaches are a good bread to sausage ratio. Staff is friendly and prompt. Community shop with lots of social interactions.

We spent the night in town on our way home back to Virginia and when we got up this morning we were both ready for some doughnuts and coffee so we headed over to Cowboy Donuts and we were not disappointed. The donuts were delicious. They were fresh, soft and just what we were looking for. My wife said that the lemon filled doughnut was probably the best she has ever had.

It's in a strip mall store front, but they did alot to add cowboy charm and feels to the place. The service was super helpful and friendly. When asked my server recommended the watermelon glazed donut. Definitely wouldn't have ordered that one on my own, but totally was happy I listened. It wasn't too sweet, just the perfect blend with and understated watermelon aftertaste. The rest were great as well. We had a mixed half dozen and were happy with every last one of them. Make the time to stop by if you are road tripping through, you won't regret it.

Food was soooo good!
We had the Italian pizza, pulled pork and regular kolaches. All so good. We even switched our foods with each other to enjoy all the bites!!

BTW from Texas so the pulled pork hit our tx heart.

This donut shop is so cute! The gal who served us was kind and very accommodating to my kiddos, giving them their donuts in their own bags. She also filled a long John with cream for me since they were out of bavarians! And she heated up my husbands Apple fritter. Highly recommend this shop!

Dang Good Donuts! We took a chance and pulled off Hwy 80 because we saw a sign for donuts this morning. Cowboy Donuts? Yes, please! It was easy to find, plenty of parking, friendly staff, comfortable seating, and then let's not forget the donuts. We were a little later in the morning so one of their donut cabinets was already empty, but that was a good sign. We picked a dozen for ourselves and some donut holes for our youngest. The Banana Nut glazed was a winner though they were all super! Treat yourself!

Great donuts... its a good thing they are good because there are no other donut shops in Rock Springs, Wyoming. If they were in a major city with 100 shops, they would still rank among the best.
