I love Current! The shop has amazing items, they cater to your ever nerd whim. Plus they have coffee and tasty food! I would have gave it 5 stars except for the fact some regulars often get loud. With the cozy small place it can be a lot for those with sensory issues. Do recommend some noise blockers! That being said it is amazing and I would love to go more often!!

A great gathering place for tabletop gamers. They have a vegetarian cafe, and even though I am not vegetarian I have enjoyed everything I have ordered. I think they put a lot of thought into planning the menu. You can also buy games, card, dice, and other gaming accessories.

Ordered on door-dash late evening (graveyard worker) and the food arrived in great fresh order. the belmont, the magneto sandwiches were great. coffee wise, the never melt ice, and the commander are staples in my opinion. If you are looking for fresh healthier vegan/vegetarian options, Support this small business!!!!!! A++

I came by here a couple weeks ago looking for a late, light lunch and some coffee for the drive home after work around Decatur.

I love all nerdy things and had pinned Current on my to-try collection a while back. It's a little easy to miss driving around, but my GPS got me there. Parking is pretty limited -- the business next door had to ask some people to move because they'd created a spot behind the worker's truck, lol -- but I had a lovely experience once I found my way inside!

They have a pretty large menu for a game cafe, and much of it is vegan or vegetarian. Pressed sandwiches, burgers, baked goodies, smoothies, all kinds of coffee drinks, and salads/wraps. I wanted something warm, light, and comforting. As simple as it may be, I was thrilled to find a pressed PB&J on the menu for a low price. I was offered my selection of a surprisingly large number of jellies (strawberry for me!) and my sandwich came out quickly. I had both a sweet tea and a latte -- hydration and stimulation! Lol.

The food was good, and my mint mocha latte tasted just like an Andes mint.

My favorite part of this place, though, is the vibe! Nerdy and inclusive. Wish all places could be like that. 🙂 Fun merchandise from all kinds of anime, shows, games, movies, etc; board games; a tidy all-gender restroom; Pride flags of different flavors everywhere...it really did feel like a pocket of welcomeness. I don't see enough spaces like that in the southeast, sadly, and so it's extra nice when you do come across it. There were lots of teens and folks wearing alternative style hanging around in cozy couches and tables playing games and I just love to see it!

While the game and card selection isn't /massive/, it's perfectly satisfying (remember -- not a ton of space in the building) and the staff was more than willing to help with people's questions.

This is a wonderful space to hang out, make new friends (if games/anime/nerd culture is your scene), and grab a bite to eat. Give it a go if it sounds like your speed!

These folks are an absolute exemplar of what a great game store is! Welcoming, clean, and bright. LGBTQ+ Friendly. The owners are absolute gems of humanity, and the food is killer. 10/10 would go a hundred times.

The owners are so friendly, warm, and welcoming!!! The establishment is clean, and very inviting, to me. I love the comfy seating...and the clean restroom, definite plus.
The food is even better than the conversation...which is a hard one to beat...I mean, both are outstanding here!!! And if you know me, I've never met a stranger and they talked with me for hours one day....they are just that cool here?. So, yes...The sandwich was AMAZING ?. My daughter enjoyed it just as much as I did!
They have expanded their flavor options for coffee, if you like that. So get creative. We did and LOVED it!!!
They have vegetarian and vegan options for everything. And best of all...it's all YUM. Don't knock it until you try it. Afterall, your mom would be proud of you, eating your veggies ?
I haven't gamed here yet...so I can't review that aspect...but I'll update once I do. I do appreciate how receptive they are to the local gaming community and how inclusive they are...wanting everyone to feel welcome.

Haven't tried the sandwiches yet but the cookie is bomb and so is the lemonade. It is such a warm and inviting atmosphere. Saturday karaoke is where it's at. Can't wait to attend on a open mike Tuesday.

Awesome place with TONS of events every day of the week and awesome staff. Slay a dragon, assemble your 40k army, duel in some Lorcana or Magic: The Gathering or just sing some karaoke. If you're hungry, they have some excellent freshly-made food items and all vegen.
