This is my local spot for any booze or snacks/grocery items I need whenever I'm in a hurry or don't feel like driving. Although the prices are a bit higher than a big Grocery Store or a Bevmo (maybe a 10-20% markup), the convenience factor usually makes it worth it.

In regards to booze, their beer selection is quite impressive...they have all the regular stuff (Budweiser, Coors, etc.), but they all have a decent selection of craft brews. Their wine selection is also quite decent, with multiple aisles nicely arranged.

The liquor selection is equally sufficient and you can usually find whatever bottle you're looking for. Lastly, the grocery/food/snack selection is limited, but it'll cover all your basic needs.

The staff is great...always friendly and polite. They've been in the area for a while (I've been here for 20+ years) and have become a staple in the neighborhood. Hope they stay around for many years to come.

⚠️ WARNING! DO NOT SHOP HERE! The customer service is absolutely ridiculous & prices are marked way, way up! Spent $40+ and they would not even break change for me after paying with cash! The manager Joaquin had the nerve to give me some lame story that they can't get change from the bank and that I should go to a bank and see for myself. What kind of manager would say that to a paying customer and what kind of market/liquor store doesn't have change. A TERRIBLE ONE! Avoid this place at all cost!

Staff are nice. Store expanded a lot so they now have what a dollar store has. They don't have makeup though. :] But they have lofas, cat food, dog food, shaving cream etc.

Witnessed one of the cashiers being extremely hostile to a customer for no reason. Same cashier was then quite rude to me as well. Just go to Ralph’s instead.

I’m 30 years old, cashier says he needs to check my ID to purchase alcohol. I did not have my ID with me at the time. I asked him before I got anything off the shelf. It was frustrating because I buy alcohol from this liquor store maybe once a month. I do enjoy coming here because they carry a specific beer that I like that not everyone carries. Unfortunately, he did not remember me, even though I am the only one with the electric unicycle that comes into his shop.

Very clean store with friendly customer service 2nd time visiting since I've been in LA and have to say the customer service was great and they assisted if needed.

Have lived within the area for 10 years.. not sure what's happened recently but I LOVE this place even more. The music has been upbeat and always puts me in a good mood when I am buying my weekly supplies of margarita ingredients. The large Viking looking gentleman behind the counter is always super nice as is the brown gentleman with the beard. All in all I would recommend this place for well stocked liquor and light grocery shopping 🙌🏽❤️ keep the music amazing

Neighborhood market and liquor store in Playa del Rey. Wide selection of liquors and wines is available at competitive prices versus the big grocery store chains. The produce section is stocked with good quality fruits and vegetable though the selection is not as extensive as a typical chain grocery store.

That said, this is exactly the sort of store that every neighborhood should have for small, everyday shopping. Nothing fancy here, but everything you might need to get just in time to make dinner, and not have to drive to a crazy parking lot somewhere!

The store is clean and well laid out. The cashier was friendly and courteous.
