I walked in to David’s Bridal this past weekend with the intention to return a dress I purchased online. I was waiting in line and then warmly greeted by Danielle at the register with a big smile and “Thank you for your patience.” As the transaction was completed, I asked if she could help me find a specific style of dress for an upcoming wedding. She went above and beyond to help me and took extra time and care for my situation. A simple return turned into such a wonderful experience and I’m so grateful for Danielle’s professionalism and kindness!

I will say that the woman who was my first consultant was amazing and made me feel so special and she is the only reason i am not giving one star. Unfortunately, she had to leave towards the end and someone she said was her manager took over for the last 10 minutes or so when I was making the final decision on my dress.

When I finally said yes to my dress, I was so thrilled and genuinely in love with my dress. They had me ring the bell and everything only for the new consultant to come back minutes later and very coldly told me the dress they had me try on (in a much bigger size and had to be clipped shut to fit me) was sold out in all smaller sizes and there was nothing they could do.

Now, I understand mistakes happen, and while I wish someone would have checked if that dress was available in any other sizes before they had me ring the bell and everything, I understand these things happen. What made it absolutely awful was the new attendants lack of empathy, caring, or any type of sincerity when she broke the news to me. I barely even got a “sorry” and she made no effort to even try to do something to make the situation right. She did suggest a “similar” dress, but when she brought it out it wasn’t the style I wanted at all and when I told her that she said “yeah well then nothing we can do then”. She then said “so that’s it?” and when I awkwardly said “yes I guess so” she basically just walked away without a second glance. I awkwardly left with my friends and just cried in my car after.

Showing just once ounce of care or genuine compassion would have gone a long way, especially from someone who is supposedly a manager. Would not recommend this place to anyone because of her.

Danielle was absolutely incredible! Friendly, compassionate, genuine-so easy to talk to and made me feel comfortable and beautiful the whole appointment. Also very honest about the dresses which I appreciated. She was able to pinpoint exactly what I wanted and found some beautiful dress options for me! 10/10 recommend coming here and working with Danielle!

I decided to plan a wedding in 30 days and was scrambling to get everything together. I had the pleasure of working with Sophia, and she was amazing. Made me feel like a Princess, I was under so much stress, but she offered me a pause button, just for a little while so I could enjoy that moment. I remember feeling so beautiful and like a bride. The entire staff was so friendly and welcoming, and I am so thankful that I could go to this store for my first dress-fitting experience.

I went to this David’s Bridal location to try on bridesmaids dresses for my friend’s upcoming wedding and it was a wonderful experience. Melissa helped us every step of the way and was very attentive to our whole group. She knew what would look great on all of us and her choice of dresses didn’t disappoint! She has a great eye for detail and style. If you decide to shop for a dress there, make sure you ask for Melissa, she’s top tier at what she does!
