My dad's birthday snuck up on me; I live in another state, and I needed a gift fast, not only did they shop for me, they delivered on my dad's birthday! How cool was that! Totally awsome! Found this gem while walking to a book store with friends. Was amazing! We did their candle making class and Charles was a great teacher. We drank wine and had snacks. Everyone was so nice and went above and beyond. Highly recommend.

This is one of my favorite places to shop! Whether you live in Dallas or just visiting add this to your "must go"list! Gifts for every occasion. I noticed they have great gifts for men too. They have cool NCAA LED signs for your favorite college student, alumni, or man cave. Check out their fall merchandise to decorate your home inside & out! They also do a fun candle making class that I highly recommend doing with friends! Stop in, shop local and support our independent retailers!

In addition to the beauty of the store, and the wonderful smells, and the hot cider that are all just part of the shopping experience, we did a candle-making class with the wonderful Kristen, who is warm, hilarious, and has a knack for making everyone feel like they are one of her friends! It was so fun and so worth the minimal charge, especially since you leave with a gorgeous candle or two small gorgeous candles. My home smells divine, and my daughters and I have fond memories, as well.

As an aside, this is one of the few places my husband will go to buy me presents, and we live in Lake Highlands, so that tells you right there.

We did the candle making experience with a food and wine spread and it was AMAZING. The staff was so kind, helpful and fun. They explained the candle making process and made it so fun for our group. I would 10/10 recommend!

A true hidden gem at its finest! I am so happy that we stumbled upon Davis Street Mercantile. From the outside you don’t really know what to expect, but when you walk in, you will be in your glory. They have everything; home goods, gifts and cards, party decorations, candy, wine, baby items, coffee beans, and so much more. The ladies working there are so sweet and welcoming. I can’t wait to come by more often. I hope you visit, as you will absolutely love it!

I’m in love with the quality and quantity of their refill section at this store. They weigh containers brought in or you can buy your own at the store and fill them yourself. Sometimes we can add our own scents as well!
