I have lived in media all my youth I'm now 47.... deals is the best place to get things u need at an excellent price. Also good place to walk thru and see a million things u didn't realize u need!!!! My husband just said he needed a new key ring and show laces .... told him I don't know where u even get those things nowadays... then I remembered deals. BTW used to be the Ben Franklin 5 and dime.... if u remeber that u will LOVE deals

If I could I would give 0 stars. The lady working walked up to my black friend and accused him of stealing when we were just looking through the isles. He was holding Ming a lint roller and he was not going to buy it but she start going off on him. My other friend started to stand up for him because he wouldn’t hurt a fly. They both started to yell a little and she said that they could not shop so we are walking out when she asked to she out coats?! Then start to threaten us with the cops like what no one was able to buy anything and no one was even attempting to steal. (P.S. we had never stolen before) and then we left pissed and without any thing to do.

They always have what we need, in a pinch. The hardware section is a lot more robust than I would’ve thought. You can do a lot of basic household maintenance with the supplies they offer.

I hope they never close. The prices are a bit higher than you might find in a legit hardware store but the convenience makes up for it. We are able to walk here instead of driving to Ace in Media/Aston or Lowe’s in Brookhaven.

To out it in short, My African American friend was shopping in the store and got accused of stealing. When we accused the worker of blatant racism, she kicked us out of the store and threatened to call the cops

The person working the store racially profiled my African-American buddy while we were shopping. He was holding a $3 lint roller on his side and she came over, snatched it out of his hands, and told him he could not shop there anymore. When I stood up for him she kicked us out of the store and threatened to call the cops. Absolutely unacceptable.

Deals is a local cornerstone. No matter what I find myself needing, they are always my first stop and are always reasonably priced. The ladies who work here have helped me find some more obscure items I couldn’t get elsewhere and are always a pleasure to catch up with.

Giving five stars for the best place to buy Christmas greeting cards and holiday cards! I confess I did not look closely at the rest of the store as I was in awe of the greeting card selection and value. There were dozens of different greeting cards available, most of them in boxes, and at fantastic prices. I scored a 20-card set of large full-color cards from Peter Pauper's Press featuring a polar bear on a navy and white background of snow and multi-colored ornaments and silver metal trim for only $6.99. Just gorgeous. Other cards were selling for even less for 20 cards. Also bought two more boxes of greeting cards as they were irresistible! If you love holiday greeting cards you must stop by.
