This is one of the top chocolate shops I've ever been to in the WORLD and it's hidden in a very small building in Los Gatos! I discovered them at a chocolate event in Santa Cruz, and no other vendor came close to the quality of Deux Cranes. I loved their coconut cream pie bonbons so much, I bought 3 boxes of them! Such a beautiful presentation as well. Also picked up a dark chocolate bar that was exquisite. Highly recommend this place. Worth the cost if you want to impress your friends and your taste buds 🙂

It is crazy that there is a chocolate shop of this quality in this location. You'd be hard pressed to find better chocolate in SF, LA, NYC, or Paris. I even think it's better than Jin Patisserie, a famous Japanese-influenced chocolatier in Los Angeles. It's the best, most affordable luxury for a special occasion.

These are the tastiest, most beautiful chocolates ever. Handcrafted with so much love. My dad loves the tartness of the passionfruit bar and I absolutely love the matcha with caramelized sesame but they are all winners! 🎉

The BEST chocolate bars and truffles, made with high-quality ingredients and unique flavor combinations. Bought a box of truffles, and fell in love with a bunch of new flavors I’ve never seen elsewhere: dark chocolate with Sake, matcha pistachio, and lavender caramel — YUM! Even the packaging is gorgeous! A must visit for anyone who appreciates artful chocolates.

We received the matcha sesame flavor from a friend and it made us drive all the way from East Bay to Los Gatos to get more—it’s literally the best chocolate we have ever had: rich in flavor, unique taste that can exist nowhere else, great texture… simply wonderful. Got five new beautiful bars today. The owner is super nice and helpful, and we’re very looking forward to coming back again!

Big disappointment. Chocolates look nice but the taste is average at best. Considering how much effort goes into selecting the ingredients, the preparation and crafting of the final product, this should be a better experience.

I love the unique flavors they have! My favorites so far are the dark chocolate yuzu, hojicha milk chocolate, and chai milk chocolate.

I’ve also bought their bonbons as gifts for friends, and they were impressed as well!
