For no apparently reason whatsoever, the cashier is glaringly angry, fire in his eyes, resentful toxic slap back tone of voice, even when doing the most simple easy no drama transaction. Very shocking. Somebody give him a time out before he snaps. I suggest if you want a good Memorial weekend, go to a different 'THE POINT' market or fuel depot. Something is volatile at this La Cumbra Rd location today.

I go to Santa Barbara and about every month or so and always stop at this location for gas. It is in a convenient location by State St. . It is also quick to get in and out and the store has a decent selection of items. What motivated me to write this review is the very great help and kindness that was shown to me today by the gentleman that was working. I locked my keys, phone, and purse in my car. They helped me find a locksmith and were very courteous to me through the entire deal which lasted around an hour. I want to give a huge thank you to them.

Wednesday, July 20, 2022 12:28, I Combat disabled Veteran & business owner, was profiled &, not allowed to use the restroom after spending 113.25 at this place by Jesus one of the employees. I approached the counter to was my hands from gas ⛽️ spilling from filling up. I asked Jesus if I could use the bathroom. For him only to tell me that he lost the key. He then told me that there were several keys lost and that he could not find one. After I asked how he used the bathroom, he then mysteriously found the key on a key ring with the rest of the keys. He then went on to say management had lost it and it was loose not on a ring which I know to be false. I know there are lots of homeless people in the area, but if they pay 💰 money in the store, nobody should be denied to use a public restroom. Just bringing this to managements attention in the future. It made me extremely uncomfortable. I put the picture in the review so management could check the cameras.

Nice people, reasonable prices and a recent remodel...transforming it into somewhat of a bottle shop. I haven’t yet purchased beer from this establishment, but a quick glance at the new fridge reveals some tasty (albeit mainstream) options. And the fact that diesel is available is a bonus!

Their outer pumps don’t work effectively and could be hazardous. I used my credit card three times and got authorization to proceed but the pump still did not work. I had to go into the kiosk for some help. I was confronted by an employee at the till telling me that i should know how to fill petrol in America (which was a shocking statement) since I am a US citizen and have been living here for 20+ years. Anyway I managed to get help but they realized that the pump was not working effectively. My suggestion is to pay a little more and avoid hazardous pumps combined with racist remarks.

Usually the staff is cheerful, but when they have to work alone on a shift they're downright rude. Employees should leave their troubles outside the door and tend to cutomers with courtesy, otherwise we'll just go somewhere else.

Ok so this is literally the nicest gas station I’ve ever been to. Prices are the lowest, great selection of things to buy, squeaky clean bathrooms, and even cold brew and kombucha on tap. Can’t believe this place isn’t busier.
