I was in line the Spanish cashier was so friendly to the guy she was helping . She said hello before ringing him up and took while to complete his transaction and he only purchased a few things. When it was my turn ,no Hello or no reaction. I handed her my credit card in her hand and she was done using it she just placed it down the counter. I asked her where's my card? I told her I handed my card to your hand ,u need to hand it back to me. She just kept quiet. Don't know if she understood me. If you're not Spanish customers they are not friendly at all.

Decent prices though selection is small and limited mostly to Hispanic-oriented goods (so, for example, don't expect to find Portobello mushrooms, artichokes or lacinato kale here). Lots of Central and South American products. Cleanliness is OK but not spotless. It's convenient for the neighborhood, but there are better local grocers.

This grocery store is well stocked with Mexican and Central american products. I like the cleanliness of this place and their prices are competitive to their competition. Cash out service flows fast.

Being a native Californian, a little mexico fills like home but that's the way I think the cashiers could be nicer and not treat people like their customers are stealing ,it seems to be friend with their own people, however I will continue shopping there due to the fact their price are very good on vegetables and fresh most of the time. So one star for being open the other star fresh vegetables and low prices.

As local produce markets go. If you're within walking distance, this and Casa Lucas half a block north are the places to go. They're close enough that you can price compare. If the prices are the same I'd go to the other place though. This one only has 1 or 2 cashiers (3 total registers) so you will almost always be waiting in line. Casa Lucas has at least 5 registers and will always get you out faster.

I am only giving this store a One Star review, because I saw a store employee cough into his hands and then continue on with his handling the fruits. His mask was on his neck, but it wasn't covering his mouth, so this is just a gross negligence during times like this. I've been a regular customer since I moved into this area last year, but I probably won't come back until the pandemic is over.

I just learned that this store takes WIC for anyone needing another location to pick up your monthly allotment. The store is tightly packed and all the refrigerated items are at the far end of the store. They also sell fresh cuts of meats.

Oh man, you know that El Chico has a package of 30 tortillas that last for a good time. The tortilla is named, El Grano del Oro, you see, this tortillas are very helpful when you eating beans or eggs in the morning. I think this tortillas have a vantage on this, the ingredients are just: corn, water and lime. We got to be cautious on the ingredients, well, I guess you know what I mean.

We also need to detox from the toxins on the not organic and foods with gluten or had to be on the GMO's cultivation. Just as the pandemic threats also is paralleled with the GMO. There are some good herbs which are very effective to detox the bad ingredients on food. Over the Trader Joe's we can get always this, Organic Herbal Supplement-Detox Cleansing Blend. Ok amigos, take care of yourself.
