Prices are not written anywhere for the vast majority of products so you only really find out the price when you get to the register. This place is incredibly overpriced but also offers a high degree of convenience, being in the heart of campus means you can get stuff in a pinch, so I guess there's that.

But $1.20 for a banana is ridiculous.

Poor, constantly changing selection, overpriced, and the shelves are almost always empty. Not to mention students have repeatedly found examples of them selling expired or even moldy food. It only seems to be getting worse this year compared to last year. The people who work there are always nice, but that's about the only positive thing about the experience. It's a shame because it would be wonderful to have access to affordable snacks and small grocery items right on campus, but whoever runs the place doesn't seem to care about having affordable prices, a stable selection, or even ensuring that the food and drinks being served are any good.

Horrible place to go shopping. Overpriced and the customer service is always horrendous. I got kicked out of line for taking more than 15 seconds to get some cash out. If you’re looking to develop some depression go here! Go to the Scotty market instead! It’s worth the walk. Don’t use your dinex here! You are contributing to a terrible cmu environment if you buy things from entropy!

This place is the worst. I've been heading there a few times for a lack of options, but after today, I'd seriously never go there to buy one of their sandwiches, wraps or salads. They are abysmal and terrible. I threw up today because of a nightmarish falafel wrap. They should be banned from selling any food items. Only packaged products like starbucks coffee, sodas, chips are fine. I wouldn't trust anything else.

Overpriced. Overcharge you! They charge $8.99 for $6.49 sushi. Absolutely trash shop. CMU should stop coordination with them!

Everything here is overpriced and/or expired. Came here for a bottle of milk and all of the milk they had was 3+ days expired.

They have almost only chips, cookies and sodas, the price of almost every item is not displayed, and only then you discover that everything is at least twice as expensive as Giant Eagle or something else.

Way overpriced. Fresh products are made in the basement of the UC. That should tell you to avoid it right there.
