Extremely Disappointing Experience
I visited this salon on January 2nd for a hair appointment that ended up being a huge letdown.
My appointment started at 2:30 PM and I didn't leave until about 6-7 hours later--far longer than anticipated. I explained to my stylist from the start that I wasn't sure what I wanted was fully achievable in one session and I'd be okay with taking a gradual approach, but she assured me she could do it.
Unfortunately, when it became clear she couldn't achieve the result I asked for, she seemed very rushed to finish up and get me out the door. If she had listened to me earlier and been more honest about what could realistically be done, I would've left with something I was happy with. Instead, I left feeling very unsatisfied.
I called the salon to ask if I could come back in for a correction, and the person on the phone promised to check with the stylist and let me know if I could come back to fix my hair. However, I never received a follow-up call. The lack of communication and care only adds to my frustration.
Overall, I'm extremely disappointed with both the service and the outcome. I will not be returning to this salon and cannot recommend it based on my experience.

Been a couple years since Ive liked my eyebrows. Ive lived in CA 16 months now and have yet to find someone who knows how to wax.

Went there a year ago and a few months ago to try again (first for a dye and secondly for a cut) both appointments I walked out with a hefty bill that was higher than the stylist had predicted over the phone. My hair after looked so janky both times and felt so damaged after the dye that it has killed any desire to ever go back.

This is my first bad review ever. I'll start by saying that I would give Whitney 5+ stars because she's always been nice and helpful every single time I went for any service. But today my daughter had the worst experience ever with stylist Crystal. I wanted Whitney to do her hair but unfortunately she wasn't available so we thought it would be ok to do the appt with another stylist. She was extremely rude to my daughter. She told her she can't do the haircut she wanted because she has thick hair and the haircut she wanted was a $100 haircut. She didn't even bother to give my daughter other haircut options and made her feel horrible about herself. She ended up walking out of the salon bursting her eyes out. What makes it worse is that after more than two years of not having a proper haircut because of mental health issues, the day she finally feels a bit better to have one this person made her feel horrible. I know this is not the first bad review this person gets so I really hope the owner considers what's best for the salon. Having a person with such bad attitude and service is not up to par and unacceptable.

This used to be a good review, but unfortunately today I had the displeasure of seeing the salon's true colors. I know that if a hairstylist in general is not a person of color, they most likely do not know how to cut thick hair. I understand this and I never complained. Euodia is a fully white salon. The hairstylist I've had so far, Whitney, has always been gracious and did her best with my hair. Today tho, I went with another stylist, Crystal. The moment I sat in the chair she gave me extreme attitude. This made me feel nervous but I tried to respond to her questions as best as I could. She told me that the haircut I wanted (short with layers) was not possible because my hair is too thick and that I should have found better reference pictures. She demanded that I choose one picture that best resembled what I wanted so I did. She scoffed and said that my hair will never look like that. So i asked if someone else knew how to cut it and she said that she's the only one here who can do short hair, but only basic cuts, and apparently the cut i wanted is "too trendy" and i was asking for a $100 haircut (?). She was practically laughing at me for even thinking that I could have such a simple haircut and I felt so humiliated in that stupid chair. I told her i wanted to cancel the appointment and she actually had the audacity look surprised and she gave me attitude for it. For the first time ever I practically ran out of that salon crying. I already hate getting haircuts because I know most white hairstylists (which make up like 99% of the salons around here) can't cut it well so I feel like the extra work is ruining their day, but they at least try to act like it doesn't. Just some mild complaints here and there. Crystal, on the other hand, said the quiet part out loud. I hate to say this, but there were clear undertones of racism and I was shocked looking at other yelp reviews that this was not the first time that this type of discrimination has happened here. DO NOT go here if you don't have THIN hair and/or are not white passing. It makes me feel so incredibly upset to write this review because I haven't really had a negative experience, until today. I'm always flexible with my hair and I always take other options if the cut i want is not within the stylists skill set. I wish Crystal could have been more reasonable with me and just told me honestly that she couldn't cut it because she doesn't have the skill to, and to give me other options. Instead she made me feel like it was MY fault for having thick hair. Honestly, if she had just been kind and proffessional then this wouldn't be an issue. Again, the horrible attitude began the moment I sat in the chair, before i even told her which cut i wanted. So I know it wasn't just my hair that made her angry. I wish Euodia had more integrity and stopped hiring such racist and unprofessional people. I will not be going back due to this awful experience.

Pretty great hair salon, and open on Sundays. Clean, smells good, and has a good vibe. I would definitely recommend!
