I recently moved near Broomall area, and what I always do is searching for European grocery stores. I have been lucky to find Euro Market in Broomall. It is very well stocked with Eastern European, Mediterranean, and Middle Eastern groceries, teas, and spices. In addition, they prepare on site delicious sandwiches, or if you prefer a lighter bite - spanakopita and tiropita right from Greece. In the summer they are selling tomatoes, cucumbers, eggplants and other veggies directly brought from Lancaster- the Amish county!

The owner of the store and her team are lovely, very welcoming, friendly, and ready to help and go an extra mile for their customers.

I always feel welcomed, get good deals here. For this I would like to give credit where credit is due.

"Extremely unfriendly staff — completely kills any desire to come back. The staff is the face of the store. I’m never setting foot in there again.
First of all, no one even greets you back — they look at you like you’re asking them for a favor or owe them something. Even if working hours were already over and the door was locked so no one else could come in, I’ve never seen staff turn off the lights while a customer is still inside. You could’ve simply said you’re closing — but no one said a word.

Also, when you address a cashier in a language other than English and they just stay silent — not once, but three times — that’s not okay. A respectful person would at least say they don’t speak the language or prefer not to use it. Ignoring someone like they don’t exist is just plain rude and unprofessional.

And by the way — we got food poisoning from your mackerel. I’m clearly not the first person to mention freshness issues. That alone should be a serious red flag for anyone thinking of shopping here.»

I am so excited to have found this place! I was on my way to a new job site when I came across it and decided to stop in on a whim. The sandwiches are fantastic, freshly made and are delicious. The have an amazing variety of European brands that I have not been able to find in other places. For bulk buy lovers, there are large format cheeses and pastries and other items. Tons of interesting candy choices that are imported. Lastly the folks that work here are extraordinarily nice and helpful. Great visit!

Be careful what you buy from there the price is one thing on the on the board and then when you come in to check out, usually there is a lot more than what they said it didn’t happen by accident. It happened a few times in my experience.

Love this little market with European food and sweets and herbs. Valeria and her husband are warm and inviting. Best of all they make great Turkish coffee. Paired with fresh warm spanakopita it is simply a delicious treat. 🤗

I was surprised to be offered a 50% discount on a meat product that had expired 5 days ago. I’ve never seen anything like that before. Of course, I declined the offer.🤦🏻‍♂️
