Having spent a lot of time in hotels throughout my career, I can confidently say that my recent stay at this hotel was very good. The staff really made a difference – from check-in to check-out, everyone was friendly, attentive, and went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed.

The room was comfortable and clean, and I appreciated the little touches that made my stay more enjoyable. The overall atmosphere of the hotel was welcoming, and the staff’s professionalism stood out in particular.

It’s not often that I feel compelled to write a review, but this hotel and its team definitely earned it. I’ll be happy to return next time I'm in town.

Fairfield Inn (Moorpark) December 30th - January 1st 2024/25. ||Location: (excellent) easily accessible from the freeway, in a quiet area and a short drive (< 2-min) to a Target, grocery and gas station. The halls, common areas and room were very clean and tidy. ||...location is only 15-minutes from Malibu Creek State Park, 30-minutes from Malibu, 35-minutes from Pasadena, 45-minutes from Los Angeles. ||Staff: (excellent) customer service was excellent, check-in was easy and staff was able to answer all questions (the location and surrounding area) easily. All staff encountered were friendly, but not intrusive. ||Breakfast: (excellent) included a good assortment of hot and cold food. hard boiled and scrambled egg, turkey sausage and biscuits, selection of packaged oatmeal and hot pre-cooked oatmeal, scone and assortment of bagel (with available toaster), assortment of cold cereal, assortment of yogurt. Coffee is avalable in lobby throughout the day. ||Room: (excellent) very quiet room (top floor), seemed larger than the typical room (King), flat screen TV, and large bathroom (shower only), bed and sheets very comfortable. ||As a disclosure, I am very picky in-regards to hotels and am cost conscious, so for me an excellent opinion of this location says a lot in my world. I would definitely return. ||I would stay here, and do the moderate drive into Los Angeles, rather then pay the higher costs (room, food, gas, parking) by staying in Los Angeles.

Stayed two nights over Christmas. The hotel common areas were spotless. So was our room and bath.|We asked the staff at the front desk if the hotel was new because it looked new. Turns out it is 4 years old. | |Our two queen standard room was very spacious. The beds and pillows were comfortable. It was exactly what we needed and our special requests and preferences were honored.||Breakfast had many options and was good. The breakfast area was spotless. ||The staff were very professional and friendly. We felt ‘at home’ during our stay. It was perfect!

Should have posted this awhile ago. I stayed here for four nights in early July 2024 and had an outstanding stay. The hotel is very clean, new, and well taken care of. My room was wonderful and very clean. Love the walk in shower in the bathroom. All staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast not as bad as some of the other comments. It was fine! Free breakfasts always have plastic silverware which works well for me. Outdoor pool and patio with fire pit was wonderful as well. Lots of free parking and a nice shopping center and restaurants within walking distance on the other side of the freeway. Easy and not so far commute into Los Angeles. Some of the negative views are just whiners and way off. This is a wonderful hotel and very quiet too. I was sad when it was time to leave and will definitely stay here again.

Sooo impressed with this hotel!!! Not only are they housing fire fighters, the manager gave up his office for donations from the community for the first responders. I hear they have plenty but they keep collecting as you can never predict how long supplies will be needed. The location is super convenient, the facility looked comfy and spotless and the staff could not have been kinder or more gracious. 5 Stars all the way!!!

Evacuated from our area by wildfires, we found this Moorpark location safe.
Very helpful staff, Clean, spacious lobby with big screen TV, coffee & tea & lots of plugs to charge devices while we waited for room. Perfect for our rattled nerves!❤️

If you are expecting luxury or fancy, this is not it. But for what it is, it is fine.||Room was spacious and clean. Wifi reliable. Comfy bed.||On the downside, the breakfast is limited in scope and there is no other food service on site. In the rooms and at breakfast they have only plastic "glasses" and flatware. An inexcusable shortcut. Location is boring and isolated.||But if I had to stay in the area again, I would not be opposed to staying here for the right price.

Stayed for two nights. Decent room and service. The breakfast was subpar, no fresh fruit or variety. Half the channels in the room didn't work. The gym was nice, but overall location was 5 stars. Would probably stay again just because it was close to shopping.
