I enjoy going to this store, but consigning here is kind of a mess. More than once, I was quoted a time, and more than once, I've waited way longer. I would appreciate an overestimated time, and it will be done quicker than have an underestimated time and have to rearrange plans. The workers aren't the most friendly, and the racks are packed full, but they do have good deals, and that's why I continue to go here.

Positives: Fashion Cents is a unique gem and I love it there! I shop and consign at the Strasburg location. I have always experienced great customer service in the store and reasonable prices for amazing finds and a large selection from clothing to household items and decor! I love their great sales that they run as well! Cashiers have always been very pleasant, helpful, friendly, cheerful, and respectful. Cashiers here are very speedy with check out when there are long lines, and are teamwork oriented to make that happen is great!

Negatives (I hate writing negative things and usually don’t, but…)
I’ve noticed lately that FC has become pricey over the past year and a half and have begun accepting clothes that are really worn, rips, and stains on clothing.

Consigning has been super inconsistent and aggravating at Strasburg due to how inconsistent they are at accepting items!!! I have found exact items that I had tried to consign the day before for sale in the store. Other FC locations will take my items without a hitch while this location is super persnickety about item donations . I mentioned this to a cashier once and she even said “yeah, it’s weird the things that we do and don’t accept. Some things I think we should take and it would absolutely sell, we don’t take, while other things that won’t sell we take and sit on! but the least you can do is try to bring in the items.” It almost feels like a lottery system which I really don’t have time to play.

I have also encountered staff in the consignment area to be rude, short, and treating consigners as an annoyance. I have been given dirty looks if I ask for assistance in using the computer. Or have been met with stares and glares by staff as I’ve struggled to get the door open as my arms were packed with items to bring in. It wasn’t just me that this is happened to either. Some employees are considerate, polite and helpful than others, but if you are accepting peoples items and representing the store, common courtesy should be instilled in all employees , not just a handful. It has gotten slightly better.

I love this store as it is a unique gem and I hope things will continue to evolve and change for the better.

The rudest cashier with the neck tattoo. My little girls told her thank you and she didn't even reply and then I said "I don't know if you heard but they said thank you" and she said "oh I heard" and gave me the meanest look. My 3 & 4 year old have more manners than she does. Absolutely crazy. I will not be back and this is a place all my friends and I have loved coming to in the past but I will spread the word and our experience on social media and tell my friends not to come back.

If you’ve gone here back in 2017 then you’ll understand what I’m about to say. This consignment used to be the best. I loved going here and still enjoy it. However, it’s just over grown so much. So many things it’s overwhelming to shop and see all they have. So many people. We try visiting first thing in the morning to avoid a crowd of people and browse in peace. I’ve always consigned my items here and never had a problem. But as they say the bigger something gets it kind of gets ruined. It used to be a small town consignment, perfectly portioned amount of things, and a playroom for the kids. Now it’s just so cluttered and disorganized and crowded which makes it less enjoyable. I get businesses have to change or they don’t last but it is sad to see how overgrown this has gotten maybe a relocation of the store and bigger space at this point. The store is so small for what it’s become.

The parking spots are small, making it difficult to park my Jeep and not having to worry about my vehicle getting hit by other's doors. I am consistently finding clothes that are faded, with holes, or stained on the racks. The store has become complete chaos with random merchandise (junk) that isn't from consignors. I've shopped here since the first location, but lately I have no desire to pop in anymore.

If you have little ones, this place is the best! Amazing selection of clothes and baby accessories. They have adult clothing and home decor as well.

Please be aware many customers do not wear masks and they do not enforce a policy.

Like new toys for all ages, all kinds of clothing for all ages (from babies to adults), all kinds of things for the house (frames, kitchen wear, etc) all kinds of diaper bags, hand wallets, different size of purses, shoes (sneakers to heels to flats to boots). The staff is amazing and the business just keeps getting bigger. They have discounts and specials at times.

This place is amazing, and I think you should go. I come here to buy my clothes, and they last a while. They have a variety of things.
