We just had a wonderful experience with Meyer Appliances. We had to replace our wall oven and found the entire process flawless. Moustafa called with information about models in stock. We ordered. Two EXCELLENT technicians checked the electricity and the dimensions of the space. The same two technicians removed the old oven and installed the new one. PERFECTION.

We purchased about 50k in appliances from Meyer Appliance in August 2019. We were remodeling our entire home, including the kitchen and upgrading all appliances. We started working with James (Sales person) and he was very attentive to our needs. We chose to purchase all appliances from Miele, they had about 10% of a rebate if we were loyal to the brand. Covid-19 hit in March 2020 and we were still not ready to receive the appliances, everything shut down and construction slowed down because of new requirements. We have our appliances delivered and installed only in July 2021. We were never able to get the promised rebates and James that was so attentive of the sale did not assist us. We also paid installation fees and got one-year additional warrant from Meyer service that was not fulfilled. We are still under a 2-year installation warranty but Meyer does not respond service calls or manufacturers service calls for that matter. This morning I had Miele come service my dishwasher and have a $1,000 bill for fixing the control panel. This should be free of charge if Meyer had responded the service call considering they sold and installed the appliances. Very disappointed with their service.

Monica is a nightmare, the worst sale person I have ever seen. I placed an order for a fridge and freezer back in April 2021. Was told the promised delivery date is Oct. 5 2021. Patiently waited for 6 months. No delivery as promised. Called Meyer Appliance office. Monica picked up the call. Very rude. Basically said I have to wait at least one more month or even longer. If I don't want to wait, then cancel it. Not even tried to keep me as a customer. I guess because she was not the one who helped me to place the order back in April, so she cannot get any commission fee anyway. I was very irritated, and said fine. The next morning, I called her to reverse the cancellation saying I have waited 6 months and okay to wait one more month. Monica still very rude. Said the cancellation has been done and cannot be reversed. If I still want the fridge and freezer, she will place a new order and the new waiting time will be June 2022. I have to either choose to wait until June 2022, or get my refund now. If she had told me if I cancelled I have to wait until June 2022, I would not have cancelled my order. She totally ruined my order which I have patiently waited for 6 months and totally ruined her colleague's work. I will never want to work with this store again as long as Monica is working there.

if possible, stay away from this place. They are pretty useless when something goes wrong. the worst part is that they just don’t respond. In my situation,

1. I bought a 48” range and compatible hood. They ordered a 36” hood. The exchange and replacement was a nightmare. They overcharged me by a couple of hundred dollars. Still not resolved.

2. Bought two dishwashers. One of the broke because they dropped it while loading. They offered a panel ready dishwasher and ordered a panel. They gave me the panel and promised to install the panel. Six months passed, no one showed up. I did it myself.

3. Toekick of the refrigerator was missing. They promised to order replacement. Nothing yet.

4. They delivered a refrigerator with a ding on the panel. No response to repeated requests.

I was dealing with a manager named Mustafa. I waited patiently to see if they solve any of the issues before I posted this review. I see similar responses from other customers.

I want to give a big thumbs up for the parts department. I needed a part for my old Maytag washer. I tried ordering online from another source and received the wrong part. I went to Meyers and the helpful parts person told me the part was discontinued, but he would check in the back to see if they had one. Sure enough, he returned a minute later with the correct part. I installed it and we were washing clothes again. Friendly, knowledgeable service...5 stars!

This is a review of their service dept. BE WARNED, I made the bad mistake of getting my Wolf microwave serviced from this company. They charged me $95 to come and verify what I told them over the phone (a bad switch or magnetron). They ordered the new parts and I had to keep contacting them to find out when the parts were arriving and when they would come back. When they did finally come back 40 days later; they replaced only one part on the microwave (as the other one was not needed) and refused to lower the labor cost. I ended up paying $650 to replace a bad switch on my microwave. The part only cost $125. In the past, I've used Meyer's competitor and this same service by the other competitor came out to ~ $250 for parts and labor. I only gave Meyer a chance since the other competitor was not readily available.

BTW. I sent the service department an email about my dissatisfaction with them and I never heard back.

TLDR version: great sales experience but their installers chose a terrible electrician. Get your own electrician.

In September 2019 I needed to upgrade a dying kitchen range. Mustafa at Meyer helped me understand my options based on my requirements. He also freely pointed out the negative aspects of each option. No pressure, just the information I needed. I ended up buying from Meyer and the appliance is great.

As part of the installation the Meyer crew needed to add a new outlet to an existing electrical circuit. They arranged for a contractor to do this the same day as the installation. No problem.

Everything was fine for 6 months at which point the oven stopped working. I called the manufacturer for warranty service and after a month waiting for them to be available they traced the problem to the electrical outlet. An electrician came out, tightened a loose screw, didn't charge me, everything was fine again.

6 months later the oven failed again. I knew to check the voltages on the terminal block in the oven, they were fine so again I called for warranty service and again had to wait a month. This time they agreed that the oven was getting power properly, but nudging the power outlet could make it stop working.

I decided to replace the outlet myself. I got the exact same make and model and saw in the instructions that the wires need to be placed in a channel, then a clip goes over them and a screw tightens onto the wire to lock everything together. This had not been done originally by Meyer: their installer had put the wire next to the screw so that it was only loosely held in place. This resulted in an unreliable connection, wasted time from an already overscheduled technician, and could easily have resulted in a fire, which thankfully it didn't. Also I had to go without an oven for 2 months.

By all means buy an appliance from Meyer, but do not trust their installers to contract out any electrical work.
