O stars if it was allowed. Prices are way higher than Walmart on groceries & food is either stale or dumpster worthy. Cashiers will sit there and talk to each other in the middle of checking out a customer. I only shop here if I'm in a bind & forget something at a real quality grocery store.

This place has fallen from grace.

My 1 star rating is only for the deli, however this place is an over priced local grocery store... Go to Tates in Hartford unless you just absolutely need something essential right now and don't really care how much it costs.

That being said, the deli used to SMASH... I'm talking amazing fried chicken, fish, Mac and cheese, ECT.

No more... The last time we got a plate I couldn't even eat the chicken it was so dry... And I'm not talking about, "oh they sat under the warmer too long." No... If I'm hungry I can eat dry chicken...I literally threw my plate in the garbage.

Only grocery store in town besides the Dollar General Market. Both are high on food. Have to drive to Dothan Alabama to get any competition on prices. The grocery store in Hartford Alabama is also owned by Food Giant. Tate’s Grocery store is the only competition there is for around 13-20 miles.

This store is very unorganized and nobody will answer any questions you may have. Don't even think about asking the cashiers a question because you'll get the sane "I don't know" answer.
