This Fred Meyer Fuel Center is my "go-to" gas station when driving between the valley and Anchorage. The Glenn Highway is almost next door to the Fred Meyer Fuel Center, but not perfect. The signal light is a pain and I feel like the left turn into the Fred Meyer Fuel Center isn't always clear. Thankfully there are plenty of pumps and space to get around all vehicle types and sizes. I didn't see restrooms, but that would be great feature in the future.

FYI for campers...the RV dump is closed until further notice; no idea why. This is as of June 25th weekend (2021). When in service it is really nice place to dump with backwash. I'D GLADLY PAY IF THEY GOT IT FIXED! If your in the Valley, Three Bears has a REALLY nice dump for $10

Great place to stop for gas, easy in and out. They keep it clean, cleared of snow and have wash buckets with squeegees and towels, always a plus in my book. Their prices are always competitive if not cheaper then the other stations in town and if you are a Fred Meyers shopper you can earn points to lower your price by ten cents a gallon and it’s easy to do.

Actually I was not here for gas. I was there to use the (I think it was Big Brothers, Big Sister) donation bin. Spring cleaning time folks. I know some things still have value and I just don't do saleing it myself. Please remember though, these places don't want your trash... if it's broken or worn out, please dispose of the rubbish.

We gas up here fairly often. The fueling area is kept clean & well-stocked. It's conveniently located at a major short connection to both the Old & New Glenn.

I'd call them before planning on using their dump station. In 2022 it seems that they are not going to operate the dump station. They still have propane though. Each year and have to start my search for a dump site. The Eagle River Tesoro which has changed its name doesn't seem to operate their dump station any longer either. The only dump station in Eagle River AK seems to be the Chevron, which is a very tight maneuvering area considering there is also an air station and small storage building on one end and the pumps and store on the other. But, it's the only game in town.

I tried to use my rewards credit card here to buy some gas, but the pump prompted me for my pin instead of my zip code. I tried both my zip code and the pin I use for my debit card with the same banking services, no luck.

The machine also wouldn't give me my card back, despite me pressing "cancel" multiple times.

I decided to gas up at tesoro farther down the road and my card was declined. I checked my banking app and it showed that my card was locked due to too many invalid pin entries at FMFC. I'm assuming that when the machine wouldn't give me my card back at FMFC, it kept spamming the transaction to attempt to push it through.

I ended up just using my debit card, but I was heavily inconvenienced and I doubt I'll be stopping here again.

Thank you Fred Meyer, for turning a simple stop for gas into an extended affair that now includes me having to phone my bank to use my frozen card again.
