I can’t express enough how wonderful our experience was yesterday coming in. Jenna, Dave and Ron and another wonderful woman that I didn’t catch her name, made our day so special to us. Being a Mac fan brought us to come in, but we left with so much more. They were so incredible, taking time out of their day to show us around and sit and talk with us. It was one of the best experiences we’ve ever had, and we feel so thankful. We can’t wait to come to just see all of them. All pure good souls in there, and their food was SO damn good. We will be back to see our friends there soon!

Words can't describe how special and important this place is to Pittsburgh. For anyone who's remotely a fan of Mac's, this is a must-stop. The owners have done so much to keep Mac's energy alive here.

Photos of him line the place, his music playing in the background, owners sharing stories, marble notebooks full of messages to give to Karen, Mac's mom. It doesn't feel exploitative, but rather super supportive and respectful.

I rolled up on a day when they were supposed to be closed, just got into Pittsburgh from Jersey. They opened the shop on a hunch that day, and I couldn't be more thankful. I left with a couple stories, I left a note for Karen, and I even gnabbed me a ticket from the music video.

A legendary stop I'll be remembering forever. Thank you David and Katie, I appreciate you both tremendously.

Most dope. 🤘

Was in Pittsburgh visiting a friend from Toronto and decided to stop by Frick Park Market on my way out of town.
It was a Saturday after close but being a big Mac fan I wanted to go just to check it out.

Luckily as I was looking through the windows, the owner Dave opened up and let me in to have a look inside and listen to some songs in the shop. He told me about the history of the market, the neighbourhood, and all the spots Mac used to film the early music videos. I then got a chance to write a little note in a visitors book they keep for Mac.

Dave offered to make me a sandwich even though he had closed the kitchen, which really helped with the drive home! By the way the sandwich was really good!

Thank you Dave, such a wonderful experience.

In Pittsburgh with the family, we had plans to go to the Frick Museum. We arrived early and wanted something to eat. Checked Google maps and found that Frick Park Market was close, so we walked down there, and I am so glad we did. What a GEM! We immediately fell in love with place. Frick Park Market is owned by Dave and Katie, an amazing couple that brightens your day as soon as you walk in. Dave provided our group of 6 the history of the market, which is fascinating. Let me tell you about the great sandwiches that we had, the freshest bread with top-notch ingredients. We tried 4 different sandwiches in our group, and everyone was amazing. You have to try Frick Park Market and meet the outstanding owners when you are in the Frick Park and Frick Museum area in Pittsburgh. Thank you, Dave and Katie.

Any Mac Miller fan probably knows of this place or has at least heard his song with its title. This was the main reason my girlfriend and I went by, just to pay respects and see it. What we got was so much more. For one, the sandwiches and wraps were delicious and were served very quickly by friendly staff. The inside and out were charming, filled with historic pictures of the place as well as artwork from Ronnie, a son of the shop owners who bought and named the place in the 40s. We got to meet Ronnie by chance, as he still has a studio on the second floor where he paints. He remembers serving Mac sandwiches when he was a kid. There were many other locals in and around the shop who also seemed glad to just chat and pass along good vibes (nice to meet you Harold and Water). The newest owner though, Dave, really sealed the whole deal for us. He was super energetic and friendly, even giving us a tour of the place and taking our picture behind the counter. I saw him give others tours as well, all on his own good time, and he seemed to make everyone feel like they’d won an exclusive inside look at the market and it’s nearly 100 year history. He keeps a notebook there for visitors to write a few words to Mac, and this book is given to Mac’s mother each time it fills up. I learned a ton and left feeling fuller, physically and mentally. I can’t thank Dave enough for our own experience and for what he’s doing to keep the market’s rich and varied history alive. So incredibly grateful for this unexpected but wonderful gift. Anything you need, you can find it at the market.
