This was my first time at a bed and breakfast and I had a splendid time. I usually either camp in my car or crash in a hotel - Frosty Hollow is comfier than both! The beds were incredibly comfortable, the breakfast was homemade and delicious (better than what I eat at home ngl😂), and the owner was super sweet and helped us find local hiking spots and cool things to see!

Very nice B&B. Super clean and the hosts were great. Stayed in the farm house and loved having the full kitchen to share with other guests. Rooms were nice and comfy beds. Breakfast had many options to choose from. The property was beautiful and was a perfect location to enjoy all the area has to offer.

Came for the dark skies, stayed for the scenery, food, and relaxing atmosphere. I decided on this B&B due to all the positive reviews and I was NOT disappointed! The room was really great. Donell and crew do an awesome job. The breakfast is very nice with several selections to choose from. For a real treat, get the wood fired pizza during the warmer months!

What a beautiful spot! The old restored farmhouse is authentic and charming. Our room was clean and comfortable. We loved the breakfast that comes with the room. Our hosts were welcoming and accommodating. They were also very helpful with recommendations of things to see in the area as we continued on our travels. Would stay here again!

Clean and comfortable farmhouse. Hosts were friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Breakfast was a nice homemade farm style breakfast with lots of options. The breakfast room had a nice farmhouse feel to it. You do have to walk through the gift shop to get to the breakfast room and they do have a lot of nice things to buy. The room was very reasonably priced. We stayed in the blueberry room which was in the farmhouse. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was a good size. There is also a kitchen and living area that is shared space in the farmhouse.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Great to visit with people. The farmhouse is authentic and comfortable. The family that runs this place has been here about four generations and are very helpful. We could see the Milky Way at night clearly until the moon rose over the horizon. Breakfast was fine and the price was very reasonable. Nice and quiet place to stay.

If I could give this place a negative rating I would. We dealt with A LOT of issues and had an absolutely horrible time. What was supposed to be a romantic Valentines getaway was a weekend straight from hell.

1. Its a Bed & Breakfast but breakfast was not included with our rental. Which we were not aware of prior to arriving.

2. When we arrived there were dozens of dead flies and bugs all over the cabin. They dotted the floors of every room. It was disgusting.

3. Multiple windows were left open and the cabin was quite cold inside upon arrival. They obviously did not bother to do a walk through to prep the cabin before we arrived.

4. The downstairs had a smell like there was a dead animal in the bathroom.

5. There was a maintenance room with multiple table saws and other dangerous equipment. The room had no locks on the door. No way to keep littles out. (And this was the bunk style room where kids would definitely want to stay.)

6. We found what appeared to be blood on the sheets of one of the beds.

7. It snowed at least 4-5 inches the night we got there. There was no shovel there for us to use and they did not come to plow the driveway without us specifically asking. (They knew prior to us getting there that our vehicle did not have 4WD) We were stuck for close to 2 hours. When I finally got ahold of someone the man who answered seemend very annoyed and was quite rude.

8. We went to the main B&B cabin to look around the gift shop. There were two corgis left outside unattended. One was extremely unfriendly and was growling and barking at us.

9. Trying to get away from the dogs we went into the gift shop. We were there for 30 minutes shoping around and looking for someone to help us. We even walked around to the dining area and up to the main entrance but there was not one person to be found. We were later told that "When we're not here we're closed." But there were zero signs that said they were closed and the doors were all open and unlocked. There was no way for anyone to know that they were closed.

10. They had advertised a valentines dinner and from the ad it seemed like it was hosted by the b&b and was exclusive to reservations. We made reservations 2-3 weeks ahead of time. I called the morning of to verify the time and they had lost our reservation. Rescheduled us for 6:30 pm. We arrived 10 minutes early only to find out that the reservation times meant nothing. It was open to the public and it was first come first serve. There was a line out the door. We waited for almost an hour before deciding to leave.

11. We could not cook our own food because the stove in our cabin didnt work.

12. The heaters downstairs would not work and it was absolutely freezing.

13. The front door had an electronic lock with a keypad and a code. Before going to bed I closed the door and pulled on it to make sure it was latched and locked. We woke up the next morning and the front door was wide open. Multiple times during our stay we found the door wide open after we were 100% certain that we had closed/locked it.

14. One night, in the middle of the night we were woken up by a very loud bang. We eventually found that the cover to one of the crawl spaces in the attic had broken/defective latches and had fallen. This happened three times during our stay.

15. The morning that we were checking out we stopped by the main cabin to talk to someone about everything. The lady who helped us check out acted as though she didnt see any problems with what we were saying and seemed like she couldnt care less and didnt want to be bothered.

At the end of us telling her about ALL FIFTEEN of these issues and the terrible experience we had, her only attempt to fix things was "I can give you a $75 discount." There was not even any apologizing.
