Locally famous spot for great sandwiches and small selection of great Italian products. A little pricey, but quality and portions top notch. If you get a sandwich might as well the meal for a small $3 upgrade. All sides are fresh and delicious. Keep up the great service Frumentos!

My family and I have been coming here since I can remember maybe about four or five. We will come here and get all kinds of stuff pack it up into our ice chest and take a ride down to Delmar and spend the whole week down there I would always get a big old gigantic log of string cheese the best string cheese ever And I always liked the big barrel of olives and I’d get a little bag of olives. Forget the pickles I like the olives anyways the food was always delicious here. The sandwich is Yum Yum cold cuts Yum Yum and my parents always love this place fast-forward to today my sons love this place. They especially love a couple of the sandwich sandwiches one of them being the hot roast beef dip way better than the hat I have to give it to them way better than that so if you’re ever in the mood and don’t want to drive to Phillips and you don’t quite get it with that, this is the place. This is the place the very best place And they have all kinds of delicious wines as well. Just ask for help and what you’re looking for and you will get it beautiful place. I hope it never goes away. Wonderful family thank you very much for your service to the community. We love you Frumento’s!

This small family owned business has been serving the Montebello community for literal generations!!! It is a popular local Italian deli, artisan sandwich maker, and small Italian goods retailer. They freshly slice meats and carry imported goods. The best sandwiches in a multi-city radius are made here!

There is adequate parking if you don't mind walking 50ft to the back door from the larger parking area 🙂 Some high chair seating is available.

Pros:

Best sub sandwiches you will ever eat!!!

Usually quite friendly staff.

Hidden gem. The front looks like an abandoned building but is not the case. I got a sub and it was delicious. I didnt really care for their Mac and potato salads. A little on the sweet side. Establishment does get busy so my suggestion is order online on their website. Will try again. Lived near Montebello for about 7 years and this is the 1st time finding about this place. Recommended you wont be disappointed

I was born in 1958 what a coincidence and Bob recommended to me to order food from Frumentos and everyone loved it and enjoyed it and from there we are always ordering for gatherings and parties. They are the best ever food we ate and also clean!!! I give them 10 stars !!!

Typical mom/pop place. Food is great but efficiency is lacking as online orders still have a 30+ min wait and walk up orders still get prioritized ahead which really shows you they have no clue whats going on. So order your food way way in advance or go somewhere else where your time is valued.
